It a truly beautiful location and the weather even cleared for us to get a cracking sunset over Croagh Patrick. It was warm and comfortable with all the amenities you'd expect plus breakfast was provided, which was unexpected, very tasty and really appreciated. We were met by Majella at a local service station and followed her to the property to ensure we found it and knew the way back if we wanted to go out again. She showed us through the property, explained how things worked like the heating and then left us to it. A lovely touch and a location we'd recommend to anyone who wants a bit of peace and quiet with beautiful views.

Although breakfast wasn't part of the deal there was bacon and sausages in the fridge for us. There was also cereal, tea bread butter and sugar available.
It met our needs completely and there is nothing else I could suggest.

We had a lovely stay in Mayo in Helens Self Catering. Our host met us and very kindly showed us the house and chatted with us. The house was lovely with spectacular views. Really nice snacks on arrival, which the kids promptly devoured after the long drive. The house was just 10 mins outside of where we were going out for the evening in Castlebar, so it was so convenient. And a lovely breakfast was left ready for us that we enjoyed very much the next morning, before hitting the road again. Our stay in Helens Self Catering has left a lasting good impression with us and we appreciate the thoughtfulness and kindness from our hosts.
