Booked this hotel for a friend who thoroughly enjoyed his stay and the welcome from Ali and Bill, the owners. Breakfast was exceptional and plentiful. He would definately stay again

Amazing location and hosts. Ali and Bill were so warm and welcoming, making us feel spoilt with their thoughtful food preparation and afternoon treats. The B&B's convenience was perfect—just 10 minutes from Weymouth station and roughly an hour by bus to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Positioned right on Weymouth Beach, we had stunning views during breakfast. The rooms were delightfully eccentric/quirky, adding to that "I'm on holiday!" feeling, while also being genuinely comfortable. Ali and Bill's local food recommendations were spot-on, and we truly enjoyed every moment. Although I missed the "Eurosummer" bandwagon this year, my brief stay on the Jurassic Coast more than made up for it. Couldn't recommend this place highly enough!
Perhaps my only minor qualms were to do with basic toiletries (i.e. no toothpaste in the bathrooms etc.) and that our room got a bit warm which is typical for most UK homes during the summer. The rooms were also slightly dusty with a faint musty smell, though I'm something of a clean freak, so this may have been more noticeable to me than most guests. One thing worth noting: there are quite a lot of stairs, so I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone with mobility issues...a shame given how much I loved staying here!

Just spent three wonderful days at the View Guest House in Weymouth, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. From the moment we arrived, proprietors Ali and Bill made us feel completely at home. The hospitality was genuine, the rooms were immaculate and comfortable, and the attention to detail throughout made our short break genuinely special.

The owner was quite welcoming and charming gentleman. The breakfast was excellent. He also verbally guided us to visit the surroundings of Weymouth which was quite nice of him.
I would have preferred the room at the front sea-view side but we were given the room at the back side (I'm not sure if there was a price difference to choose the room). The toilet/bathroom was a bit tight and the toilet paper roll holder fell down from it's suction grip.
