Great facility. Cafe area is nice and not too busy. Beds have a nice cedar wood aroma. Great sand sento. Quiet.
My friend and I agreed the attendent acted like I was stupid on checkin, by over explaining and getting frustrated when I wanted to ask clarifying questions, due to his over-explaining. I've been all over Japan and this was unique. Seems like a good guy though otherwise.

Cool cafe on the grond floor.
Old and worn accommodation. Service was nonexistent. The bathroom next to the shared kitchen and common room was dirty. The sink did not drain properly and the toilet was not pleasant.
Toilet in bedroom was better, but the toilet gun was so powerful it shot me in the back of the head...and the toilet ventilation allowed for small flies to come in and settle, which was quite gross.
It's a cheap hostel so I wasn't any luxuries, apart from simply meeting a high standard of cleanliness which many public bathrooms in Japan do.
