Stan is a warm and welcoming host; the best are very comfortable and the neighbourhood quiet at night so we had very good sleeps. Lots of places to eat nearby and easy access to all activities. Shower pressure was great and plenty of coffee and tea at the ready. What more can one ask for?

Great location in Amsterdam and really helpful and friendly host who sent us lots of recommendations while we stayed!
There’s a lot of stairs but it’s absolutely fine if you’re fit. Just something to look out for if you’re travelling with someone who may struggle with lots of stairs.

The property was in a great location, a nice area, within easy walking distance of everything.
The bedding and towels were clean.
The owner was very friendly and helpful.
The bathroom was relatively new.
The property is in need of some TLC. It is very basic and although it has a fridge and some plates/glasses etc there is nowhere to wash or dry things. It could also so with a deep clean.
The owner lives in the apartment below, and the apartment is completely open. There is a locked door in the hallway, however his door is on the same side as the apartment. The bedroom doors locked, however being completely open it was unnerving, especially when I was there with children.
Also, the apartment below was very noisy (loud voices and music) until around 11pm each evening. Again, this was unnerving given the apartment was completely open.
