Santa Marta Rooms - Modern/comfortable rooms in a perfect location

Santa Marta Rooms are in a wonderful location just behind the main street in Vernazza, so very close to shops and restaurants. Our family stayed in two rooms, a double room with terrace overlooking the main street and the loft room. Both were very well furnished with modern bathrooms and immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable, great air conditioning, USB ports, good WIFI and tea/coffee making facilities for us to use. We had friendly communication from the owner before we arrived and when we left, he was a very nice guy. If you're planning to stay in Vernazza this is a very good choice.

Would recommend to those who can climb stairs.

The rooms were highly renovated and really well presented. Some food items are ready for you when you check in. The place was clean, amazing location, and the balcony was roomy and useful. Overall a fantastic stay.

This first item is not a criticism but just a caution. The stairs to this particular suite are very steep, see photos. It would really be great to have access to some beach towels. Also, to have some complimentary cold beverage upon arrival. Also, access to replacement bin liners and more toilet paper. Only minor things.

Wonderful stay

The room is a good size & looks like it was renovated recently, nice atmosphere. Great balcony that overlooks the town. Just a few minutes walk from the train station. Easy self check-in & good communication. Breakfast items included (tea, coffee, biscuits, package crossaints, jam, toast crackers).

Leave the big suitcase in La Spezia as the stairs to the room are very steep (although they did offer to meet me & help with a suitcase if required). Sound proofing helps a lot but you can still hear the trains & noise from town/neighbours so pack some ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

Best view ever

The apartment was very clean and spacious. We were accommodated wonderfully. We had a fantastic view of the village, and we could sit in our balcony and enjoy the sunsets.

The only inconvenience was that the staircase was very steep, it made it difficult for one of my family members. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Fantastic location, helpful and contactable hosts and nice and comfortable.

Location was amazing in village- 3 separate keys for entry so very safe for luggage and yourself. Nicely renovated inside. Loved the air con in both bedrooms and lounge. Terrace was great to dry wet items. Hosts were very contactable and helpful - beds were super comfortable also and we had great sleep ins

Only one sink in the bathroom. No other sink anywhere. Small lounge area with mini fridge however 2 bedrooms and 2 lounge chairs made up for everyone having own space

The 2 levels were very small. Only place to sit was 1 tiny stool downstairs. There was no beach towel in room. Staircase up to loft bed was steep. Best aspect was easy location from train station and room was clean. There were several snacks in room for breakfast. Have to pick up the bed to retrieve a blanket. Need 2 people to do this.

Fantastic rooms in perfect location

Fantastic location and very cozy room. Very helpful and nice hosts as well.

The phone or internet connection is very unstable inside the room, but hey... You are on vacation, put your phone away!

Our stay was beautiful as was the apartment.

The location was great. Close to the train station and hiking trail. Alessandro was always available when we needed anything. Would stay again without hesitation. Beautiful Property

It was very difficult to find where to locate the apartment. Maybe a map to locate which door as there are many doors with Santa Marta 25 on them. Map is definitely needed.

Great location to explore Cinque terre. Nice to have a balcony to escape too when it got too crowded in the village

Perfect place in a beautiful city!

Location was ideal, steps from the station but somehow quiet at night. The room was perfect for two people, and very comfortable. We got a little turned around finding it, walked by it twice lol. But they came to find us and walked us in. Just really great service. The only negative would be if stairs are an issue. The bathroom is downstairs and the bed is upstairs. But is that’s no issue, this place is perfect!

Lovely comfortable room in the centre of Vernazza

Very good

Great 2 bedroom with a beautiful terrace.

We were 2 women traveling together and it was difficult carrying our luggage up the stairs to the street(even though we are in shape and only had a carry on). The room was also on the second floor with the steepest set of inside stairs I have ever seen in my life! So tough with a bag😩

quiet, clean, comfortable, very convenient location to vernazza train station

nice clean room with comfortable bed and pillows. there is air conditioning and the room gets very dark and quiet at night despite being so close to train station. there is a mini fridge, a water boiler and instant coffee and tea provided. Alessandro is very responsive and helpful.
