Actually, it was a handicap accessible unit, and the beds were high, which was fantastic.

Well, it started out when we pulled up for valet parking. It was pouring down rain and I saw the valet standing there the way the building is laid out it pours on the driver. So I hopped out and had to wait through a good three or 4 inches of water which soaked my shoes. I went inside to check in as I was disappointed and upset with the valet as he didn’t even come over to the car. Then I mentioned this while I was checking in and amazingly the valley pops up and said oh are you checking in? I am 64 I have checked into hundreds maybe even thousands of hotels over my lifetime. Usually the valet comes to your car. At least they do when I go to the Ritz Carlton and other nice places, but maybe the Marriott is equivalent of motel six I’m not sure I’m not even sure if Motel 6 has a valet. I’ve never been there but if they do, I am sure that this isn’t equivalent. The girl at the front desk wanted to put a hold on my credit card for $150 but did not want to give me a receipt. I understand that she is putting a hold on it but I like receipts for everything. Nobody explained to us that we had to use our key card in the elevator to go to the floor. Luckily somebody else got into the elevator and explain this to us this would’ve been nice to know because honestly, I didn’t see any place to put the key card. There was just a black box below the numbers, but if you aren’t looking for it, it was only on one side also. In the room, I would have to say the layout is normal for most rooms but the lamps that come out in the middle in between the beds were very much in the way as I am handicapped, and I have to push up off the bed to get up. Next the shower and whoever designed this needs to be flogged daily until it is fixed. Yes it is rolling accessible, but the water pours all over the bathroom floor unless you show it up with towels and the tile on the floor is like ice-skating.
