Loved the historic feel and design of the hotel. Staff was great and the room was very comfortable. The location was also great with access to nearby restaurants as well as the National Portrait Museum. A bonus was also the fact that it was close to the Chinatown district as well.
Parking was my biggest frustration. The hotel information did say that there was nearby parking available but be prepared to spend a tidy sum for that parking. Also, to save money most parking does NOT allow for in/out privileges. In the end I decided to "splurge" and just pay for nearby parking, but it still was a detractor from an otherwise lovely stay.

Location is great, price is slightly lower than nearby hotels. The noise and the quilt in room was great.
It is a really vintage and old hotel. The facilities are getting old. The walkway noise(people walking, elevator sounds) you can heard.

Location location location.
Well - some of the furniture is outdated etc. But, it would still be a fair hotel if the “current” part was more consistent.
70 usd per night incidentals (!!!), refusing (or… saying “we will do an exception”) a bottle of water for a kid, late night, until we reached to the store, forgetting to say hi on the hallway when you are greeted (despite the fact that you are working for the hotel) etc.
All these small, annoying stuff irritate a lot and make this a “just fair” hotel.
