Convenient and comfortable for a family stay

Location. Suites with sofa bed, space for family. Buffet breakfast with omelette station was good with excellent staff in the breakfast area and housekeeping.

Poor experience at check in; was delayed and room not ready at time of guaranteed check in and front desk staff member was dismissive and unhelpful.

Shalonda - Good Place to stay

My stay was short but the property was in a great area to attractions and the school we were visiting. My room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice, approachable and answered any questions I had. I will stay at this location again.

There is nothing I can say I disliked.

Great Location

The staff was great and I liked our room. Plenty of space for 4 people.

The buffet was crowded and disorganized but I’m not sure how to prevent that. Thankful it came with the room. The snack register didn’t work all the time.

Despite the inaccurate advertising of a particular room, the rest of the stay and overall experience was very good.

Great location! The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is very good, with an abundance of food choices. The restaurant staff, especially during breakfast hours deserve extra kudos!! They worked really hard to keep the breakfast rush running so well.

The room I booked was advertised as a corner room and I don’t think it should have been advertised this way. Who doesn’t think “corner room” is synonymous with a 90 degree angle of windows, meaning a room at the end of a hallway with 2 windows offering views from two directions?? The “corner” room we were given had a view from the single window in our room of brick wall!! Our room was NOT located at a “corner”. I called the front desk immediately upon entry into to the room and was told that our room was considered a “corner” room. The only reason I could think of was perhaps because our room was adjoining to a room at the end of the hall, which I suppose was the “corner room”. However, we weren’t given that room. I didn’t argue with the front desk because I figured the priority of our trip was to visit the sites and not look out from the hotel windows. In hindsight, I probably should have at least said something to the manager at the time.

Nice hotel but not worth so much money.

I liked the staff, they were really friendly and helpful. Also the location is perfect.

The room wasn’t very clean. There was hair in the shower and pee at the outside bottom of the toilet. Also, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. The pool was ridiculously full of kids jumping and screaming and moving aggressively. Couldn’t enjoy it with my one year old baby as it wasn’t safe for her.

Definitely decent.

All in all, a great stay. Breakfast area was a bit confusing, as the set-up is not friendly. Cleaning lady was great and the young lady, Isabel, was very friendly and helpful.

Could not order food until 5pm and the prime rib sandwich was terrible. For breakfast, most of the staff was really good, but I did run into a few at breakfast that seemed irritated.

Great room, great stay.

The room was great. Breakfast was ok, but we were out quite a bit, so it wasn't a deal breaker. The location was amazing, near the metro, arenas, and Cinatown.

D.C. is in the middle of a crime wave (according to the news), and we did have an altercation occur right outside the front door of the property. The staff handled it well. While this wasn't the fault of the hotel by any means, it was a bit disconcerting, especially considering how posh the neighborhood was.

Large room, excellent breakfast (cooked to order omelettes, hot and cold buffet items), pleasant breakfast seating area, nice gym, location within walking distance of sights and restaurants.

Carpet in room was dirty (cookie crumbs on the floor), one tiny window (and only in the bedroom), welcome text message incorrectly called me 'Mr'.

Fantastische Lage mit einem Premium-Gefühl und großzügigen Zimmern. Einfach toll für Sightseeing!

Die Lage ist einfach ihr Geld wert. Das Hotel ist in einem der sichersten Viertel von Washington. Das weiße Haus ist einen relativ kurzen Fussmarsch entfernt. Es gibt Restaurants in der Umgebung. Man muss etwas zur Metro laufen aber die Entfernung ist in Ordnung. Beim Frühstück wird dir ein frisches Omelett zubereitet. Dazu gibts Speck, Bratkartoffeln und Würstchen :) Kaffee und Saft/Cola gibts so viel man möchte. Die Zimmer sind groß. Wir fühlten uns premium.

Wir waren zweimal da während unserer Reise. Beim zweiten Aufenthalt gab es leider keine richtige Dusche mehr, sondern eine Wanne, die man als Dusche nutzen kann. Das fand ich bisschen schade. Und wenn Familienmitglieder im Wohnzimmer auf der Couch schlafen, kann man Menschen auf dem Flur hören. Wir waren jedoch von morgens bis abends immer unterwegs und am Ende sehr müde. Daher hat das alles nicht sehr gestört. Wir würden definitiv wieder hier übernachten :)

The hotel was nice. The staff is excellent and we felt very safe in the area around the hotel.

Customer service was excellent.

We booked a corner room, for the view and extra space. It wasn’t really a corner room and the view was of a side of the building. It was nothing like the picture of the room we thought we were booking. There was no iron in our room. The shower was not clean. There was hair in it when we arrived.

All in all for the most part it was a pleasant stay.

The room was exceptionally clean and nice. The location was within walking distance to the event I was attending. Breakfast was delicious and the area was neat, although, there were a lot of customers dining. I will recommend Embassy Suites to others..

The room was beautiful, excellent size, the family loved it.

Not really a didn't like, but it's a little far from a lot of the sites to see in DC. It's not the hotels fault at all. The hotel is mixed with all of the high-end shopping.

Hotel was pivotal in providing a good family vacation with grandkids

Breakfast was excellent, late afternoon reception was a bonus.

Hotel supplied a list of outside restuarants, but did not provide price range, address or a map with locations. Highly recommend an area map with walking distance for restuarants, nearby businesses, and public transportation. Hotel should have information available for public transportation. In house restuarant was convenient but expensive, with limited menu.

Rooms were very superficially cleaned. Dust in the room and I stayed a total of 16 days. I wish beds were really made and not just looking like they were made. Same remarks for the bathrooms.

Very upscale, gorgeous, clean, family oriented.

The food, our stay came with complimentary breakfast & it was horrible. No flavor, no turkey options for the non pork eaters (on that day). Valet is $69, should be noted while booking.

Breakfast was ok, way too many options but it was free, the parking was half of the hotel room cost, ridiculous!!
