Ein einmaliges Erlebnis . Besonderer Abschluss war die Schlossführung !

Gute Lage , schöner Blick , außergewöhnliche Unterkunft … eingebunden in ein Schloss ‼️

Es sollte darauf hingewiesen werden , dass es für Menschen mit Bewegungseinschränkungen NICHT geeignet ist .

Sleeping in a castle!

Very nice accomodation , we would love to come back.

The Wifi in our room 7 was not working, but he come on who need WIFI, when Max the cat pay you a visit :-)!

Very rustic and historic and lonely

The location is cool with a castle right there but everything closes at 4:00 so you have to get there early if you want to see any staff or visit the castle.The accommodations are rustic but clean.

The staff also leaves early and there is no one on site to greet you if you arrive after 4:00. This could be a really nice place if there were staff available on site to offer assistance and hospitality and somewhere to get a cup of coffee or a drink. It would be nice to sit out and enjoy the view in the evening with a beverage or a meal/snack. The Wi-Fi did not work, there is no TV and No bath soap. You really feel like you are on your own. I think the vampires come out in the evening so everyone leaves!

Very good

We knew the hotel was very old and "rustic", and this was perfectly fine for us. The staff is small and they were very busy preparing for an event the next day, but they still made sure we were settled. Beer and water was available. The restaurant across the street was enjoyable. Breakfast was also great.

Quite an experience

Special place to spend a night. Creaking floors, spacious, very old, historic. Fantastic breakfast.

Sadly the walls were very thin and could hear conversation next door when they woke us up at midnight. It would have been nice if there had been coffee/tea making facilities. After a long drive needed a drink and nowhere to get one.

A lovely adventure that we would enjoy again when it’s a little warmer outside!

The breakfast package was amazing!!! We couldn’t eat at the hotel because we had to leave earlier so they made us an amazing, very generous packed lunch that we ate through the whole day! The staff were so nice and helpful!

It was very cool in the room and a bit run down but clean and there were extra blankets.

The castle looked like something out of a fairy tale. Many pictures were taken. I felt like I was transported back in time. Schloss Egg was a great stay.

Would reccomend!

The facility was very interesting! It gave us an opportunity to see what older (updated) German construction looked like. The rooms are huge! Though, my bother did have to watch his head in some spaces. It was right next to the castle, which opened for business at 10:00. Breakfast was great! The woman on duty was very helpful and kind.

Authentic stay on the grounds of a beautiful caslte

The atmosphere at the base of the castle on a rainy day in a room perfectly decorated was very relaxing and enjoyable. We were provided clear instructions for check-in via SMS and were greeted with a friendly welcome at breakfast. We would recommend this location to couples and are also considering a girls night with our young daughters!

We were hoping to find an option for food near the accommodations,but thankfully we had read previous reviews and planned food accordingly knowing there may not be any nearby options. We were hoping to have the ability to walk around the grounds a bit more.

It’s all about athmosphere.

Very good location, good breakfast, the room was big but rather spartan, but the whole atmosphere, and the extreme kindness of the personnel, of the place made it for all. Would come back any moment.

Careful with functions

Garden location for breakfast Pets allowed.

1. Wifi connects but useless so had no wifi 2.That they rent rooms at same tome when they host functions. A “sorry about the noise” doesn’t make it better. The sound is overwhelmingly loud and you can forget getting rest until 01:00 when it stops...

Quite and beautiful rooms, very nice personnel.

Great rooms, giving you a taste of the past (well off) people’s lives. Pretty much everything you need, with a taste of history. Modern bathrooms, but authentic rooms and furniture (which is the best combination by me). Very enthusiastic and happy people working in the morning at breakfast and reception, always talking with you with a sincere smile.
