Situated in Leland, this attractive house for $395 per night is a great option for your next break. Beautiful spacious home built in 2014. Open floor plan with upscale finishes located in the heart of Leland.Just a couple of short blocks to the water, beach, Main Street and Fishtown. Four bedrooms, three full bathrooms, gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances, finished lower level family room with flat screen HD television. Large yard with two porches & plenty of space for grilling out & relaxing. Enjoy the wonder of Leland with your family and friends in this prime home away from home! We just purchased this home, and it is the first season it is being rented. We will be using it ourselves for less than half the summer, so are making it available the other weeks! - Air conditioning - Wifi - Flat Screen televisions with cable - Stainless steel appliances - Covered patios with grill

We did Thanksgiving at the Walker’s house in Leland for a second time and it really doesn’t get better than this. Gorgeous and incredibly comfortable house with a great little walk into Leland. Ideal location for going places or simply relaxing. Hope to be back again!

This was our second stay at this wonderfully located home in town Leland. I loved the dips from the end of the street dock in Lake Leelanau.
We also love walking to town and the close proximity to many beaches. The home is well appointed and comfy. Kitchen is great for cooking. Easy access to all of the wineries and national park sites. .

Nice cottage with all the modern and updated interior touches. Perfect place for our extended family (overflow from our cottage). Mother in law especially appreciated the air conditioning!

The house is perfect for families. Plenty of bedrooms and shared living space. A great deck and yard out back. House was in great shape and the owners were very easy to work with. Very short walk into “downtown” Leland as well as to a public beach at Lake Leelenau. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was as advertised— lovely, spacious and well appointed in great location, just a short stroll from Leland’s main drag. The owners were very responsive and the stay was terrific. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

For anyone needing a "base camp" in the Sleeping Bear/Traverse City area, this spot was great for our family. Large open floor plan, beautiful fireplace, and walkable distance from Leland.

Lovely mini-Thanksgiving in Leland
We had to do Thanksgiving differently and smaller this year so we decided why not head to Leelanau County. This house was amazing, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The pictures don't capture just how spacious the kitchen and living room area is. Location is excellent for walks into town. Master bedroom is a dream and the other bedroom is great, too. Would love to come back!

These are very minor things that would improve the experience. Overall, we cannot wait to come back and stay again!

Fishtown is Perfect!

Wonderful in town location. Best part was access to Lake Leelanau at end of street. Walk to town or bike with the great bikes in garage. Peaceful, comfy, huge kitchen. Restful week!

Nice location and home with attention to detail/cleanliness of the kitchen was less than ideal.
This was our second season in the home on 401 Grand. Overall, we like the location and size of the home. However, for the second year in a row, the kitchen was not well cleaned. The refrigerator was filled and dirty. I did request before arrival that it be empty, cleaned and ready for food. In addition the stove and island were not well cleaned. This year the garage was filled with empty boxes and trash. Lastly, the exterior of the home could use some attention to landscaping. If the owner is unable to supervise due to distance, he should hire an onsite manager to inspect the property and home before guests arrive.

Beautiful Centrally Located Place
Cannot say enough good things about this place. The house is beautiful, cozy, and well stocked with essentials (towels, kitchen needs, even bikes to borrow). The pictures do not do it justice. The location was walking distance to the main street of Leland and perfect for our needs (we were attending a wedding at the Leland Lodge). Jeff & Megan were very responsive (though we didn't need to reach out for much). Thanks for opening your home to us!

Comfortable, spacious, and bright. Great location. Enjoyed the short walk into town for shopping and restaurants. Nice side yard for the kids to run around. Weather didn’t really cooperate but one of the best properties we’ve rented.

Almost a 5-star experience
The pictures really under-sell this place! It was a beautiful home to spend our vacation in. Everything about this place was relaxing and it was easy to move in and get settled in quickly.
The only things that stopped me from giving it a full 5-star rating:
- the gas fireplace didn't work (even though it is probably a simple fix for the owners)
- some of the household supplies were low (not hand soap at every sink and only half a roll of paper towels for the week)

Spacious, bright and in the perfect location!
It’s impossible to not love Leland but this home sure makes it even more enjoyable! We walked and biked to eat, to the beach, to get coffee at Blue Boat, treats at the Dam Candy store, to watch the sunset, you name it. There’s plenty of room to spread out and we loved having enough space to host friends for dinner. The kids loved the fire pit for post sunset s’mores and we loved it to keep the chill off and the bugs away. Loved every minute of our Leland vacation!

A Leland Gem
This house had no ratings when we chose to rent- as it was new for this season. We loved the location but we did not know what we were in for. Well it was a home run, a true gem. Fabulous! The house was on a quiet street with a mini beach at one end and is Close walking distance to a charming town, restaurants, famous Fishtown and some beach options. We invited our adult kids, 2 young grandkids and a senior dad ( great grand!) and there was lots of space and lots to interest everyone for the week. The Walkers have an upscale kitchen , clean rooms and beautifully furnished home. (And not cluttered with nick nacks!!). We would absolutely stay here again if visiting North Michigan, and recommend it without reservation.
The only suggestion we can make for the owners is to have a second tank of grill propane available. The gas was empty the first day we went to grill and we were really stuck with dinner steaks and no gas. Not really that huge but a detail worth addressing in the future. In every other way the owners were quick to respond and very helpful.
