About this house rental
Gather the entire family at this traditional 6-bedroom, 3-bath Outer Banks beach cottage for a vacation of swimming, fishing, and sunning right outside the door. Enjoy panoramic semi-oceanfront views and beach access just steps away. Set in South Nags Head on an expansive stretch of sand, the house gives everyone room to spread out.
Watch the surf roll in with morning coffee, then lounge on the large wraparound sundeck with furniture. Sleeping is flexible: four queen bedrooms plus two bunk-bed rooms for adults and kids. The wide-open living area opens directly to the deck. The dining room seats up to 13. A fully equipped kitchen and a full-sized bar with stools cover everything from cereal and beach snacks to evening daiquiris. High-speed internet runs throughout the house and on all TVs. A washer and dryer keep beach and bath towels in rotation.
Restaurants, shopping, and historic sites are a short drive away. Spend a day on Roanoke Island at the Elizabethan Gardens and the Manteo waterfront, then catch The Lost Colony, the world’s longest-running outdoor play. I thought the house was going to be beach front. It was beach view but it was ok. Lots of room which was nice everyone could have their own space. Steps to beach were completely covered up so we walked throught the sand to get to the beach. Overall we had a good time.

The property was clean, but a few things were in need of repair. The dishwasher was leaking, a blender was missing a piece that held the blade in place, and the footrest on the recliner in the living room was broken. Overall it served it’s purpose and provided a comfortable place to stay near the beach.

My first impression after getting out of my car was wow what did I just purchase? The outside of the house could use some maintenance. There was poison ivy growing up the railings and for the love of God do something with that hot tub. Take it off the porch or fix it. It is worthless. I was very disappointed, not having a hot tub that worked. The inside of the house, however, had plenty of room for everyone. Air conditioning was amazing. The only thing that I could see that the inside really needs is a steady decor. It was pretty random and please get rid of that god-awful reclining chair, dump chairs, and buy new sofas, other than that quite pleased with the property close to the beach and we all had a good time
