BRIEF DESCRIPTION: This one bedroom apartment is located in a very desirable neighborhood on the southside of Bozeman. This home has all the amenities of urban living, as well as the perfect amount of space for two (or four) people to spread out in modern comfort. BEDROOMS AND BATHS: The home has one tastefully decorated bedroom and one bathroom. The bedroom has a beautiful queen-size bed, modern lamps and antique side tables as well as a large closet with a programmable safe. There is one full bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is also a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room. KITCHEN: This fully equipped and high-end kitchen offers top of the line stainless steel appliances including a stove/oven, french door style fridge, dishwasher and microwave. It has everything you will need to prepare any meal you have planned. There is a nice selection of cookware, serving ware and a good selection of small appliances as well as a walk-in pantry for grocery storage stocked with basic cooking /baking staples, spices, and coffee. Guests can dine at the kitchen bar which has stools for two or at the fold down table attached to the stairwell wall. LIVING ROOM: The cozy living room features a queen-size pull out sofa for additional sleeping. Cozy modern furniture accent the living room. SETTING, ACREAGE, VIEWS: The home is located above a garage near the MSU campus. Main Street is less than a mile away and there are several great coffee shops and restaurants within a few blocks of the home. CLOSEST AIRPORT: You’re just 13 miles from Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport. ACTIVITIES NEARBY: Besides hiking, biking, and trail running right from town, there is fishing on the nearby East Gallatin and main Gallatin Rivers, horseback riding, rafting, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and everything that the fun town of Bozeman has to offer. You’re just a 17 mile drive from Bridger Bowl Ski Area and Crosscut Cross-Country Ski Area, and about a 43 mile drive to Big Sky. It’s also a beautiful 80 mile drive to the North Entrance of Yellowstone.

This loft is lovely, and you will find it exactly as described. The bedding is superb, the kitchen is complete, and the living area is comfortable. The location is perfect for us, and the parking on the adjacent streets is not an issue with the required permit. We will visit again!

We stayed here while dropping our daughter off at MSU. The location was perfect. It was great for my husband and I. A little tight when my daughter was there (which was most of the trip since it was only 2 blocks from the dorms!). This was the perfect hub. Close enough to walk to Main Street, drive to Yellowstone - or just stay in and enjoy the quiet!

The Capitol Hill Loft was a great place to stay! Very cute and clean. It was the perfect location for our visit to Montana State University for freshman orientation. Parking and check in were very easy. Great communication from the host.

We were there for parent/freshman orientation. This little loft was perfect for me and my husband. It was within walking distance of campus and a quick drive to Main Street.
It is small so I wouldn't necessarily want to hang out there for long periods of time, but if you are going to be busy and on the go - I would recommend it.
One word of warning! .. Since you are near campus there are college kids living nearby. A couple of nights we were kept up by kids hanging out and listening to music. Since it was summer and there is no AC we kept cool at night by having the windows open. You could hear EVERYTHING!

The bathroom is so dark you can't see to put on make up.
I suggested last stay a lighted magnified mirror be installed, but not done by second stay. Disappointed.

Precious Loft Near Campus & Downtown
Great, quiet spot in Bozeman. Well appointed and fully furnished. Walking distance to University and Downtown/Main Street area. No air conditioning, but comfortable regardless.

However, I would suggest that the Home Book be out on the counter and not placed with the cookbooks. Also, I think it would be helpful to explain that accessing the loft is around the back of the garage to the left. We came in at night and we had a difficult time finding the door to the loft. Parking is difficult because there is no where to park to unload your things. Besides those disadvantages we enjoyed our stay in Bozeman in the loft.

Bozeman in August 2019
The property was extremely nice, every detail thought of in the unit from toiletries, to kitchenware, to closet space for suitcases. There were a few days in the upper 80’s, but the unit wasn’t unbearably hot & cooled down nice in the evenings. Exactly as pictured and walking distance to MSU campus. Friday evening got a bit noisy with an isolated college off-campus house (and 1st weekend back for MSU students!), it to be expected on a college campus! Very nice neighborhood & homes, and overall a great experience - we will be back!

Great location and beautiful space.
Could not have been happier with the convenience to Main Street and Montana State campus. It was beautifully decorated with a real cozy ambience. My only complaint was the noise of the traffic. Because of the warm weather, we slept with the windows open and the propert in on a busy road.

Lovely space in convenient location
The property itself is comfortably furnished and in a convenient location I did not like the property management company however. I was unable to access their app to begin with so the check-in and directions had to be sent to me which was fine. Turns out the driving instructions to the property omitted a key step and GPS doesn’t work which after a 11 hr drive that was not welcome. I tried to call the property manager for some clarification but was unable to connect. We were finally able to find the property tucked behind a huge lilac hedge off the alley a few blocks from the last direction which said it would be “.1 miles on the right”. Turn right into the alley 2.5 blocks down from the last turn would have been helpful. Prior to arrival, I had been sent a pre-arrival questionnaire which I promptly filled out. My adult daughter would be staying with me while we worked to set up her new apartment in Bozeman. She would be using the sofa bed. I received the pre-arrival questionnaire 3 more times. Not sure if the first one had been received, I filled it out again, and again. Upon arrival (finally), the sofa bed sheets were not easily located. Not sure why the management company is asking guests to fill out the pre-arrival questionnaire if nothing was going to done with the information. I was able to connect with the property manager and the homeowner helped locate the sheets. It would have been really lovely to arrive and have the sheets set out since the questionnaire (all of them) indicated the sofa bed would be used and we would be coming in from a long drive. These were all small things that added up. Our stay was ultimately pleasant after that unfortunate start.

A beautifully renovated space in a relatively quiet setting. No a/c and it was a bit warm. The check in was 5pm and check out 10am. Would have preferred earlier in and later out as we were in town for a funeral and needed extra time. Staff at Mountain home was responsive to questions quickly. I would recommend this property for folks who can climb stairs and maybe when it is not in the 90's in Bozeman.
