Excellent location - close to nice shops, restaurants, and Schlossberg. Train station was only a 15 minute walk away. Breakfast was really nice and there were a lot of choices.
The bed wasn’t that comfy, but that’s a personal preference.

Very good location in city center, comfortable beds, nice view towards the cathedral on upper floor, good breakfast, traditional restaurant, friendly staff
The access to the rooms on upper floor is difficult and exhausting (there is no elevator), room on upper floor quite small without a/c or fan (Freiburg can be VERY hot in summer, and it was), only one socket in the room

Location was excellent, very central.
Breakfast was great.
Decor very jaded. Our room in Attic was small and up many narrow stairs, although to be fair our bags were brought up and down for us.
