De accommodatie is prachtig gelegen in een mooie tuin. Vanaf de lodge heb je zicht op de Nijl. Wellicht mooier zicht wanneer je op de bovenverdieping bent gelegen. De maaltijden waren in orde. Elke avond op het terras een open kampvuur dat zorgt voor sfeer en gezelligheid.
Zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Toegang tot het Nationaal park op een 20 min afstand.

I’ve stayed in several places around Murchison Falls National Park, but this is by far the best in terms of value for money and facilities. The location is simply amazing — though it’s just outside the park, it gives you a peaceful stay without paying daily park entrance fees. It’s only about a 20-minute drive to the safari gate, so access to the park is still very easy.
The food was fantastic — honestly, the best I’ve had anywhere in Uganda! The staff, especially Charles and his team, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My kids absolutely loved the swimming pool and the play area — it kept them entertained for hours, and the overall environment was calm and relaxing for the whole family.
The only small downside is that the area can get quite hot — having air conditioning would make the experience absolutely perfect.

Fort Murchison Lodge is a perfect place to start your explorations of the National Park, as well as to relax and recover after strenuous game drives. A spacious pool area makes you forget all the heat and the huge garden with a view over Albert Nile is just wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The helpful stuff is just amazing and they read every wish from your lips. Last but not least to mention is the excellent food! We enjoyed our stay the fullest!

Hotel potrzebuje natychmiastowego remontu,wszystko jest stare i poniszczone.Brak klimatyzacji jest nie do wytrzymania.Cena kompletnie nieadekwatna do standardu.
