Perfect location as I was working locally. Room was clean, well-specced. I stayed in the bunk room, mostly for the laugh and it was comfortable, had what I needed. Bathroom was lovely, hot shower. Spot on. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Bathroom door is lower than a standard door and I did catch my head. Not the end of the world but bear in mind if you’re over 5’11”

Very close to place wanted to visit

One night a large person very active in room above creaking of floor kept me awake !

The room was clean and nicely presented on arrival and the welcome was warm and friendly
The towels were somewhat worn and require replacement. There is a failed double glazed pane in the window which spoils the outlook and needs replacing. We thought it was a little expensive and felt that breakfast should be included (which it isn't). Breakfast was quite slow, but you are warned it may take 45 mins for your order and we did not wait that long. We gather the pub is on the market which may explain why things have not been upgraded as necessary?

A fantastic location for us, we were having afternoon tea near by. It was a lovely big room, very clean modern and stylish. Nice comfy bed, tea and coffee and water supplied. The staff were brilliant and friendly too. The food at the property was delish, we had a burger in the evening and breakfast the following morning. I would definitely stay again.
Not a major problem but I wasn't keen on the plastic cups provided in the room to have my cup of tea in.
