We had a great stay. House was in a great location, short drive/walk to beach, restaurants and ice cream. Host was very accommodating and easy to get in touch with.the house has plenty of space and includes multiple sitting areas where family can gather.

The house is nice to host a big family gathering and would be a great place to stay but here is the problem with the house…. There was broken or missing toilet paper holders in several bathrooms. There was no hand towel bars so you had to put the towel you dry your hands with on the sink next to the roll of toilet paper. There was 2 wooden Adirondack chairs at the fire pit that were broken and unusable. Nobody could sit in them without getting hurt. The back deck is very big and would be a great place to hang out if someone would put some furniture out there. There was a broken table with 6 chairs around it. There was no lounge chairs or an outdoor couch or any umbrellas. So that part of the house was basically unusable. My grandson did go around the deck and hammer in all the nails that were popping out of the wood so no one would cut their feet. The outdoor shower was not working but there was a garden hose hooked up next to it that I think they wanted us to use instead. The living room in the house was big. A great space if someone would put some furniture in it that you could relax in. The furniture was flea market finds. All mismatched. There was broken chairs left in the closet in the dining room. You can not shut the doors to the closet so you got to look at that all week. The bedrooms were sufficient except for one which seemed to be a catch all for furniture they didn’t know what to do with. The bedroom had a wooden stool in it and a coffee table and a side table for a couch in there along with a screen door leaning against the wall behind a big leather lounge chair that no one would use in that room. They had a broken ironing board set up in the room which if it wasn’t broken should be hidden in a closet until needed. The fourth floor bedroom is really hot even with the air conditioning so we found a fan and brought it up to help with the heat but the fan was broken. We went out and bought one to use and our apologies to the next family we did take our fan home. Three days into our stay we found out there were raccoons living in a crawl space above the fourth floor bedroom. That’s why the room had a funny smell. Someone was coming to remove the raccoons but someone needs to remove the hazardous feces baking in the heat above the ceiling. I doubt the feces will be removed. We left a day early. For the amount of money we spent I expected much nicer accommodations. What we got was closer to a frat house. We will not be back.

This was a last minute rental for us and it met every expectation. Great for large families or a couple groups of friends. Mike was very responsive and great with any questions or requests as well!
