This 2 bedroom cottage was built in 1939 and is renovated and has all you need for a relaxed stay in the heart of Morehead City. Enjoy the coffee bar, or an evening grilling and relaxing on the screened in porch. Three night minimum stay. Ask about Fall weekly pricing. Perfect for working remotely and families with children doing remote schooling to enjoy a trip to the coast. Fall/winter monthly all included $1450… deal

The cottage is quite comfortable and very quaint. One bedroom opens up to the living room, and does not have a door. Just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, the neighborhood is very quiet, very close to the beach, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed staying at Fish Tales Cottage. Perfect size for our family of 3 with a true cottage feel. A great location for access to the coast/island and north to New Bern.

Cute cottage. Not much privacy, so stay there with people with whom you are comfortable. Nice little kitchen. The big dining room table handled meals and games well. Both the front and back porches were pleasant. It is a quick walk to the restaurants and shops on the waterfront. The host was communicative and had good suggestions for us. We had a very fun stay.

Would not have rented had I seen it didn't have central air. However, it would have been fine if the unit in the small bedroom wasn't so loud! It was impossible to sleep with it on! Needs replacement!!

The house is central to so many places so don’t just limit your time at Atlantic beach. The neighborhood looks like it’s more year round residences vs weekly rentals and the neighbors were friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

The house showed well like in the pics and is centrally located to a great selection of restaurants. The outside back porch was great to sit and relax and the house was clean.
This house has air conditioned window units and it stayed muggy only in the one back bedroom. There is only one bathroom and you have to go through a bedroom to get to it. The pillows on the bed were definitely outdated.
Overall - this is a cute little house in a quiet neighborhood.

This was a great space for a weekend getaway. Its a small cottage that works best for a family! Close proximity to playgrounds and the waterfront. The neighbors were nice and was just what we needed!

Small nicely decorated beach cottage. With owners easy to communicate with and ready to answer any questions along the way. We overslept and texted the owners to request a few more minutes to check out and they put no pressure on us. Giving us the time to not feel rushed in the morning to check out. Was an awesome stay.

Convenient to Cape Lookout, Beaufort, Fort Macon. Spent a day at the Beaufort Jubilee in the park. Enjoyed the back porch and the quiet each evening.

Perfect little house for us! Very close to the boat ramps and a great place to come back after a day of fishing. Very cozy and very clean! This will definitely be a place we stay again. Far enough off the main highway but close enough to everything! Mrs. Sandy’s personal tour of the house was the perfect start! Thanks so much, we will definitely be back again!

This home was very cute with a lot of character and really makes you feel like you’re at the beach! We thoroughly enjoyed the cozy front porch. The owners thought of everything and fully stocked the home with anything you might need on vacation even including a couple beach chairs! The house was also very clean and the beds were comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was cozy and was stocked with everything we needed including beach towels and chairs, kitchen stuff, laundry, and a great coffee bar. We loved running around the area all day and coming back to a cute little bungalow every evening. I especially liked the screened in back porch, which wasn't included in the pictures. The bathroom was nicely updated and the rest of house was super cozy. I would say the property is best for one family unit, as the one bedroom was right off the living room and had no door and the only bathroom was off of the other bedroom. It was fine for us, but I could see that being awkward with a mixed group. Overall, a great stay!

With a 6 and 4 year old, we needed a “home base” for rest during our week at Morehead. That’s exactly what we got! The home is clean and comfortable. It’s in a great spot to be near or within a short drive of the main attractions. So glad to have had this home as part of a great week!

The Fishtails Cottage is a nice place to stay! It had everything you needed and then some! It’s location is in walking distance to restaurants! Neighbors were friendly! I would stay here again! Thank you for allowing us to vacate in your cute cottage!

A special vacation celebrating a birthday with family and friends in a prefect setting and location. The house was cozy, nicely decorated and comfortable with a connection to historic Carteret County. It is conveniently located a short walk from the waterfront. Hard to imagine a more ideal cottage for us.
