Location was right next to Sinharaja entrance. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

The location is gorgeous, with a great view from the top of the hill. Food is good, Sri Lankan options were great! And good French fries.
The tour guiding only offered me a private guide as a solo traveler - I tried communicating this multiple times… Ended up going to the rainforest with three guides for only five guests! My solo guide was very kind, but very unnecessary to pay for a private guide when there were three small groups. I don’t fully blame the hotel, there were some language differences… but I did not appreciate how the guiding options were set up ~ seems that it was made to make more business than to provide a tour group rate.

Basic accommodation right next to the rainforest, with amazing view. Ok place for staying overnight. The sleeping cabins are a bit older, but adequate. Kind staff with base knowledge of english.
Very noisy and disturbing ceiling fan in the room. There are wooden cabins with very thin walls so you can hear everything.
