We really liked the wood cabana. We went to hike in sinharaja. The fact that it is located in walking distance to Pitadeniya entrance was really convenient. Food was really tasty and good portions

OK.....this is not a place for everybody. You should know what you come here for. This place is only for the jungle guided tours. it is located ON THE EDGE OF THE JUNGLE, literally. If you are afraid of bugs, or are not an "adventurer" this is not an experience for you. the Owner and manager do their best to assist, they really do, but this is HARDCORE jungle area!! if you are afraid of breaking a nail or an anxious person, it is not the place for you. Its not that this establishment is not good.....It is different from everything else .....it is IN THE MIDDLE OF THE JUNGLE, insect-wise, night-sound-wise, night cockroaches climbing on walls wise, Leeches in the shower and next to the nice pool. Reminded me of serving in the Israeli army years ago. If you are adventurous enough, and not spoiled, it was the BEST EXPERIENCE IN SRI LANKA, BY FAR

Better sealing of the rooms against insects. location - you get there with 4X4 only. but it was a thing to remember

W zasadzie wszystko mi sie podobało, może dobrze byłoby zadbać o czystość wokół domków, trudność ze znalezieniem drogi, opracujcie mapę dojazdu żeby nie błądzić

Wirklich tolle Lage. Es lohnt sich auch 2 Nächte einzuplanen. Der Eingang zum Forest ist 20 Meter entfernt. Man kann sich auch dort am Eingang einen Guide nehmen plus Eintrittsgeld. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Een warm welkom met een heerlijke kop thee. Eten was prima verzorgd en erg lekker. Ze doen alle moeite om het je naar de zin te maken. Er werd voor ons een gids geregeld en kregen zelfs een lunchpakketje mee. Het uitzicht is fantastisch!

De routebeschrijving geeft een locatie op waar je niet bij het hotel komt. Eerst bellen met het hotel voor de exacte locatie. Er was niet vermeld dat er geen warm water is. Voor mij geen probleem maar voor mijn man wel:). Geen minibar. Je kunt alleen contant betalen, houdt hier rekening mee.

The location of the hotel is beautiful, only 50m from the entrance of the rainforest. The hotel is very helpful with tours through the rainforest. Do negotiate, though! Our guide was wonderful and really knowledgeable and his English was really good too! The food in the accommodation is really good and they have big portions. The view from the terrace is beautiful.

I had a very negative and unfortunate experience with one of the staff. Therefore I have to advise fellow female travellers, especially those travelling alone, against coming here or to be very cautious! The man working there took me to the rainforest when it was closed and offered to show a waterfall only a few metres in the rain forest. He must have been aware of the leeches and, in the end, took advantage of that to become very touchy with me. It happened very fast and I thought at first he really was only worried for the leeches. Upon coming back, I told my friend and went to the shower. While I was away, he asked her if she wanted to see the waterfall (which was not impressive at all) as well. It seemed like he was not doing this setup for the first time. Although the accommodation was beautiful and all else was good, I therefore have to advise against going here.

Cute little houses right at the entrance to the rain forest national park with a clean bathroom, clean pool with a beautiful view into the green; If there was a problem noticed, it was immediately fixed after telling the staff; Top guide booked via the accomodation!

Long waiting times for the food to be served, even if a time was agreed on forehand; many bugs, including big ones, which also can land in your food

Es un lloc precios que val la pena visitar. Et trobes enmig de la selva i el personal es molt amable. El Sanduru ens ha ates molt be i ens va posar en contacte amb el Ramshee per fer un passeig guiat per la selva inoblidable
