We were expected more comfortable stay and because it this was rather average stay, nothing exceptional

No code access to the apartment, owners had to bring fysical keys but was somewhat late. There was no central heating and as a result it was cold at winter time

A few pro’s and con’s. Going to suit some better than others.

The view from the front window out to the Alfama neighbourhood, the river and the adjacent view point was definitely the best feature. The location was close to some good restaurants and a small supermarket nearby. Tram 28 stop is right outside. We stayed 6 nights so it was nice to have an apartment and kitchen/washing machine/lounge as opposed to just a room. Communication from the host was excellent.

The worst feature was the shower. The base leaked, the head leaked, it didn’t drain properly and consequently the floor by the toilet was always wet. I note that this has been mentioned in previous reviews but not fixed. There were several other little maintenance/cleanliness issues and a few things missing that would have improved our stay but not deal breakers. Not necessarily a negative but certainly a couple of things you should consider if you are considering this property. Whilst Tram 28 does go right past the door it’s not a reliable form of public transport as it’s so over crowded with tourists you can’t get on it most of the time. Alfama is quite hilly so if you aren’t up to walking up and down a lot of hills this won’t suit. Likewise there are 55 stairs to the apartment and no lift so you’ll be carting your luggage up/down and will need to be capable of doing so. Lastly there are a few noisy bars nearby so there’s a bit of noise particularly when windows open. Which you’ll need for the heat (no air con).

very nice location and nice view from the window. exceptional check in services. many thanks for the bottle of wine upon arrival. simple but very cute flat. fully equipped. excellent communication with the owner.

Location was great! Apartment was neat and had amazing views. Kitchen is quite well equipped.

The beds were not high quality (it is not a real sturdy bed, it squeaks a lot just with simple turning to a side) Bathroom was dated. Impossible to sleep without opening windows, which means there is some noise.

Die Lage der Wohnung waren perfekt für das Erkunden von Lissabon.Der Ausblick aus dem Fenster waren grandios.Wir konnten direkt das Treiben auf Lissabos Straßen beobachten.

Alle unsere Schlafgelegenheiten waren sehr unbequem,durchgelegen und wackelig. Sie müssen dringend erneuert werden.
