The host, Carolina, provided outstanding communication and support for my stay. She really made sure I had an excellent experience. I loved the historic atmosphere of the building and the apartment and its easy access at the gateway of the city. It was very comfortable for my 4 night stay.
Just a couple of small suggestions: the bathroom was a little dark (especially for putting on makeup) and didn't have much space to put any toiletries - an extra shelf could be helpful.
There was no wardrobe (-just drawers), and while there were some clothing hooks there were no hangers. I prefer being able to hang my clothing on hangers to help release the wrinkles.
Travellers should be aware that the walled city is some distance from both the bus and train stations and it's really too far to walk with luggage, so best to book transportation.

L'appartamento è all'interno di un edificio storico, per cui ha molto fascino, arredato con pezzi antichi, soffitti alti, molto bello. È sulla piazza principale di Montepulciano. Abbiamo sbagliato posto per il check-in, ma lo Staff oltre a raggiungerci, è stato super gentile.
La cosa peggiore: l'appartamento è diviso da un altro appartamento, da una porta antica probabilmente molto sottile e da una vetrata oscurata male: quando il vicino è rientrato tardi la notte, accendendo la luce ha illuminato quasi a giorno il soppalco dove avrei dovuto dormire io, e le voci e la sua tv si sentivano come se fosse in casa nostra; ci siamo svegliati tutti allarmati pensando fosse successo qualcosa a qualcuno di noi in casa. In più, il letto nel soppalco non ha rete o doghe, o comunque non si avvertono per nulla, è il materasso è più morbido di un cuscino. Al mattino ero quasi per terra, impossibile dormirci. Un peccato, tutto il resto andava benissimo.
