It’s very clean and lovely apartment!

There is a big market on the piazza right downstairs that seems to be open daily except important holidays . You can buy fresh fruits there. You can walk to major tourist spots.
It’s located inside a shabby residential building and you have to walk up a dingy staircase to get to the hotel room. There were stains on the towels. They need to be bleached.

The room was very modern
Unfortunately even though the room was modern it wasn’t cleaned, the bathroom in particular.

The location is great and the room had the basic stuff you might need. A lot of hot water (which isn't always the case in Catania), a nice vozy shared space in the "reception area" to enjoy some tea.
The floor was dirty. You couldn't tell by looking, but as we removed our shoes to roam inside, we soon discovered that our socks or bare feet were dirty enough...
Also, the check out is quite early (by 10:00am). It was clearly stated, by we haven't seen it since it's usually at 12:00 anywhere in the world. At least we could leave our suitcases there until our train departure. Bare in mind that there isn't actually any stuff in the property apart from the cleaning person coming in the mornings.
