Overall it was a comfortable room with an awesome kitchen just outside my door. Stairs are not for people with mobility issues, but in the end it was clean and comfortable. Upstairs was very quiet with no TV so no loud noise between walls. it was walking distance to some shops.
The noise from downstairs karaoke was a bit of a shock but it ended at a weekday reasonable time around 11ish. Room not soundproof. The train had to blow its horn as it passed over the close by railway crossing.

The history of the hotel and the comfortable beds.
I liked the ease in which we could see the bands we came to watch at The Painted Lady venue below and then just head up to our accommodation afterwards
Probably would have liked an earlier update on what to expect on how checking into property on the day works. But this was minor issue
