Terminus is close to everything in Sydney. Especially the Rocks and Sydney Harbour.

The location was great value for money and the room was clean, bed was comfortable.
The hot / cold water zip tap did not work and there were no coffee cups upstairs in the communal coffee & tea section.
The windows are thin so if youre sleeping on the ground floor bring noise cancelling headphones or the hotel provided ear plugs which is very kind of them because it gets noisy being so close to the footpath and the road.

Quirky old pub in a fun historic neighbourhood. There are some great little cafes nearby, interesting architecture, and it's a reasonable but achievable walk to the cbd plus plenty of public transport.
The climate control seemed to be stuck in HEAT mode, and we were unable to cool the room. The staff had gone home, so there wasn't anyone onsite to address the problem. The outside pedestrian noise was very high, and we had a terrible sleepless night. Also, it is a double bed (not a queen) and I fell out twice in the night when my partner shifted. (he's quite tall)
The price point was very cheap, and perhaps with noise cancelling ear phones and a comfortable sleeping temperature it would have been appropriate. We found a different hotel for the remainder of our stay.

"Right on the street but surprisingly very warm and quiet ! Bed was soft and clean and there was hot chocolate and biscuits available in the kitchen. The light rail station was a few mins walk away"
