Just the location was far from the city

As a family, we have stayed in several hotels and serviced apartments in Qatar, and this one is by far the best one. Incidentally, it was also the most affordable one (even after booking two separate rooms for our family). The hotel is located right at the edge of Wakrah old town and right next to the public beach and seaside promenade. There are small shops, cafes and restaurants nearby within walking distance. The accommodation is located in historic courtyard-style buildings. There is a central swimming pool, a spa and restaurants within the hotel compound. The service provided by hotel staff is equally impressive and very friendly. We will happily book this hotel again on our next trip to Qatar.
The one and only potential disadvantage could be that the hotel is not located in Doha city directly, but in Al Wakrah village to the south. However, if you have your own car it is only a short drive to Doha downtown or to the airport.

Also, TV channels are useless and cannot cast from my iPhone…only android
During World Cup…no channel is broadcasting the games!!!!!!!
