The gal behind the desk was great. Also the room, beds and bedding, the amenities, the pool, the breakfast. Location is really good, too. Our stay was on a Friday to Saturday and the hotel was full, yet everything ran smoothly and we had such a good time.
We had some trouble managing the heater/AC, so our room was a bit too warm at night.

Comfortable room. Quiet area. Comfortable bed. Breakfast okay, typical for a Canadian hotel - waffle machine, yogurt, potatoes, sausages. The black gentleman working in the breakfast area was very helpful. The area is not really walkable (missing sidewalks, abandoned/unfinished buildings), but there's Montana's restaurant next door and you can walk to Mr. PG in 5 minutes.
No cutlery at all in the room. Not even a fork or small spoon. But I was able to get wooden cutlery at the reception. Also, regrettably they don't seem to have Tylenol or a medical kit at the reception - my kid got a bad fever at night and I was hoping to get a pill.

Clean comfortable hotel with a good location. Breakfast was also reasonable in that it had hot food and not just continental breakfast that doesn't work for many diets especially gluten free or low carb.
It would have been better and more convenient if breakfast lasted until 10am instead of 9am. If made for a rush to get down to breakfast.
