About this cottage rental
Built around 1910, the fully renovated Redruth Cottage is located in the historic old heart of Port Elliot. Offering comfort, character and location, Redruth is perfect for a weekend break or week-long holiday. Whether you want a base for exploring the Fleurieu, or a place where you can simply relax and have all you need within easy walking distance, then Redruth is the ideal place for a break. Walk to the beach to swim in the clear cool waters of Horseshoe Bay or to the headland to watch the sunset over Encounter Bay. Cook yourself some comfort food or stroll to the Hotel Elliot, the Flying Fish Cafe or the famous Port Elliot Bakery. But most importantly, just relax and learn to enjoy and love this place as much as we do.
Located less than 75 minutes drive south of Adelaide, you are only a 4 minute walk from beautiful Horseshoe Bay - the best holiday beach on the south coast - and just one minute walk from cafes and restaurants. This fully appointed cottage comes complete with linen, a well stocked library and an extensive DVD collection: All you need to bring are your bathers and beach towel!
The cottage has three bedrooms: two with queen size beds (one with ensuite bathroom) and the third with two king-single beds. The large open plan living area leads onto a paved courtyard garden. Our cosy lounge room is the ideal place to curl up with a good book, and if you've had a day of hard exercise then feel free to soothe aching muscles in the spa bath.

Lovely well equipped cottage. Excellent ducted air-conditioning and bedding.Responsive owner. Well located near train line and main street so we got to see cockle train which is always heart-warming.Well be back.

Excellent location, handy to everything (Horseshoe Bay and all the shops), and especially to the train station for the Cockle Train. We didn’t need/use the car at all during our stay, which meant the restricted off-street parking isn’t really an issue at this property.Clean and tidy, with very good facilities and provisions

Wonderful place to relax and chill out. Great location, very clean and comfortable. Loved the spacious light filled living area. Host was easy to contact, flexible with check-in and departure. Hope to be back soon.
