About this condo rental

Situated in Wareham, this charming condo for $300 per night is a great choice for your next break. Sunday-Friday $1500. You won't find any 5 days stays on the Cape!* Just a pebble's throw (about 100 feet) to the private beach, the Carriage House of Onset Village is situated on beautiful Onset Bay. The Carriage House is just a short walk over the stone bridge to the village with shops, restaurants, the Onset Pier and a summer full of events. There is a lovely view of Onset Bay! The second floor unit has a contemporary, open layout with the feel of a modern cottage. The kitchen and living room are open with a sectional in the living area. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and another with a double bed and trundle bed underneath. The kitchen is outfitted with all the necessities, including dishwasher. There is a full bath with tub and towels are provided. A stackable washer/dryer is located in unit. Linens are provided along with beach towels, beach chairs, wireless internet and cable TV with DVD player. There is an outside shower to keep the beach out where you'll want it and a gas grill for those slow summer evenings. While we welcome children, with respect to our downstairs guests, the upstairs is not a good fit if you have younger children who are active. With that in mind, we ask there is no running in the unit. *check in for midweek special is 5 PM

Had a delightful week, the rental was clean and well positioned steps from the beach in a quiet neighborhood (other than the continual barking dog for 5 days!!) It is very easy to visit other areas of the Cape and with the good weather couldn't have asked for a better rental. Sit back on the beach with a good book. I will definitely return and hopefully next year!

Adorable property, very clean and accessible to walking distance restaurants/downtown/beaches. My kids (5&3) thoroughly enjoyed the deck and the wonderful private beach. The kids still talk about exploring the shells and tide pools. I would highly recommend Jude’s property… we stayed in the top unit, but she also has the bottom unit. She was staying downstairs with her family the weekend we visited and did complain about the kids walking around in the morning, so if you have kids I would recommend staying downstairs if you can (we booked that first but she asked us to shift upstairs so her family could visit)… very difficult to have young children sit still :)

We enjoyed our stay in Onset Ma. The rental location was really good. The rental was good too. The outside balcony had a beautiful view of the harbor which we enjoyed for morning coffee and evening cocktails. We had great communication with the owner.. The rental was clean and well appointed. I would definitely recommend it.

The listing stated a trundle bed, however it was just a twin mattress on the floor under the bed. The silverware drawer had mouse droppings. In the coffee table drawer were used dirty tissues. In the dresser drawer there were a pair of mens underwear.

Jude’s place was perfect for our September visit to Cape Cod. Communication was fast and easy. The place was exactly as described. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet neighborhood so we were able to leave windows open at night. We used the place as home base and drove to a different city every day. We were able to walk for pizza and breakfast. We loved having coffee on the deck looking at the water.

My husband and I and our adult daughter stayed here over the long holiday weekend and had a delightful time. The place was very clean and well-appointed, the beds extremely comfortable and the kitchen seemed fully stocked, although we didn’t do any cooking beyond making some toast in the mornings. Jude was quick to reply to any messages— and was very gracious about my parking in the wrong place one evening😊. Even though the weather was a bit cool for it in early October, I loved starting each morning on the deck with a cup of coffee, gazing out at the bay/ocean. Would definitely return on our next trip to the Cape.

Very enjoyable comfortable vacation. Jude was easy to be in touch with. Loved the short walk to town for breakfast at Pier View Resturant each morning. Sitting on my balcony enjoying the ocean breeze. Nice for my daughter & granddaughter to be able to visit.

This unit was absolutely perfect for our stay. The owner was very friendly and easy to communicate with all the way up to our arrival. The unit was clean and spotless and just a few steps from the beach as promised. Everything you could possibly need was supplied.. We had a great time there and hope to go back again!

I surprised my husband with a weekend away for his birthday. The carriage house was lovely - super clean and a great location. We walked to nearby restaurants and picked up take-out for our dinners. We visited the nearby Cape Cod winery, which was fabulous, and we enjoyed walks on the beautiful beach across the street. We’d love to return sometime!

This was a great experience from start to finish. The property was exactly as described. The access to the private beach across the street was perfect seeing as the main Onset Beach was a bit crowded for our taste during this crazy time. The neighbors were all very nice, cute little neighborhood. One couple even gave us a tip to visit another lesser known beach when the tide came up too high across the street. It was within an easy walk and we would have never known it was there and open to the public. The sunsets were pretty amazing, the house is spacious, clean, had everything we needed, and its proximity to the village center couldn’t be beat. Highly recommend. Thanks, Jude!

My husband, two teen girls, and I booked the midweek special and the carriage house was just perfect for us - the girls could each have space to themselves while the adults relaxed on the deck with a view of the water. The location is great - a quiet neighborhood with a private beach just steps away, and an easy walk to the public beach and several dining/take-out options.

We had a great time. Private beach was so convenient. Off street parking for up to two cars. Great restaurants within walking distance. Trevors at the end of the road was a great hidden gem. Overall we were very happy and had a great time.
