We had an amazing stay here! The homestay is perfectly located with a beautiful view. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious every morning. Everything was perfect from start to finish — we truly felt at home and would highly recommend this place!

Our host Guna was so lovely and accomodating, we were his first ever guests and he really made a special effort to make us feel relaxed and at home. We had dinner and breakfast made by him. First he asked what we would like and was happy to make us anything. We asked for traditional Sri Lankan food for both meals and he did not disappoint. There was so much, it was like a banquet. Amazing dahl and popperdoms and all sorts of other dishes. Tea and coffee at breakfast and fresh fruit from his trees, even a king coconut to drink on arrival.
The room was huge and cheaper than others in that area and the bathroom was nice with a good shower.
The main reason I would recommend here is because it's a five minute walk from a stunning beach, the home cooking by Guna is fantastic and he is so kind and lovely to talk to. Help him get his business going and drop in for a visit.
There was nothing we didn't like. It's a little bit away from the town but that's why it's so quiet and why you can see lots of tropical wildlife visiting the garden. Wifi could be better but that didn't matter to us.
