The hotel is located close to the Bachkovo monastery in a nice nature area. It has a swimming pool, good traditional bulgarian breakfast and very kind and helpfull staff.
The last 100 meters to the hoel are on a black road

Loved the secluded location in the woods by the river (with ample parking) and the courtyard with the swimming pool (seasonal).The restaurant downstairs is very cozy and the home-made katmi (Rhodope pancakes) for breakfast were delicious. The hosts were welcoming and courteous. The room was very clean and well heated in the winter.
The twin beds were very narrow and hard, almost Spartan. There was a slight sewage odour in the bathroom, which is quite common for rural areas in Bulgaria because of the old septic tanks.

close to the monastery i guess.
pool looks nice (was however not an option in April
cant say i was thrilled. The road / street to the acomodation was very narrow and in bad quality. I could not loose the feeling I was not a "wanted guest" - we had to leave earlier (7am) so the breakfast we got was a sandwich (bread-ham-bread). If i would know that, I would save money and go for an accomodation without breakfast. The room was a bit old and would need some refurbishment
