Beautiful views and cosy beds. Kids loved the horses right outside the lodge, and the highland cows. We all enjoyed a little stroll to see the cows each evening! Plenty of bathrooms and space for our family of 5.

The location, ambience and facilities were perfect for a holiday near Edinburgh. We enjoyed exploring Edinburgh and nearby historical sites, then returning to a peaceful chalet surrounded by green fields, woodland and stunning hill views. Evenings by the barbecue, watching the sunset in complete quiet with horses grazing nearby, made our stay truly special. A perfect escape into nature, yet still close to Edinburgh.
An additional shower over the bath tube would be really useful as one shower for a house that can accommodate 6 people is not enough.
