About this house rental
Nestled in Hilton Head Island, this charming house for $715 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to 1 East Wind!! This five bedroom, four and a half bathroom home is located third row ocean in Palmetto Dunes – it takes only two and half minutes to walk to the beautiful beach! This home is all one level and can accommodate up to fourteen guests. This home features a private pool and spa. As long as the temperature doesn't fall below 55 degrees, you are all set to enjoy FREE pool & spa heat typically March through May & September through October. Additionally, it is dog friendly allowing up to two dogs maximum - the pet fee is $250 plus tax. The dining room table can seat up to eight. There is a breakfast table with seating for four plus additional bar top seating in the kitchen. The kitchen, living area and dining areas are all open. The living room has plenty of seating and a 65” flat screen TV. The kitchen has a large island, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Steps away is a wet bar with a wine/beverage cooler. The second living area has a large sectional sofa and an 82” flat screen TV with access to the pool deck. There is a powder room and washer/dryer located off the main living area. There are two master suites both with king beds and flat screen TVs. They both have a private bathroom with a double vanity, large soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. The third bedroom has two twin beds with a 32” flat screen TV. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower and is located just outside the door. Bedrooms four and five each have two queen beds in them and flat screen TVs. They share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. There is a small patio just off the dining area with a gas grill. Being steps away from the beach – this home is ideal for your next Hilton Head Island getaway! *BEDDING CONFIGURATION* • Bedroom 1: King (Master, 49" Flat Screen TV, Private Bath) • Bedroom 2: King (Master #2, 32" Flat Screen TV, Private Bath) • Bedroom 3: Two Queens (40" Flat Screen TV, Shared Bath) • Bedroom 4: Two Queens (32" Flat Screen TV, Shared Bath) • Bedroom 5: Two Twins ( 32" Flat Screen TV, Private Bath) *ADDITIONAL INFO* • Distance to Beach: 3rd Row Ocean ~ 2 1/2 Minute Walk • Private Pool & Spa:14 feet by 28 feet and has a depth of 3 to 5 feet. The pool and spa are able to be heated seasonally only. Neither will heat if the temperatures drop below 55 degrees at any point during your stay. Must call Coastal Home and Villa at least two weeks prior to your arrival to arrange for pool/spa heat. • Dog Friendly: This home permits a max of two dogs to stay in the home. The pet fee is $250 plus tax – must reach out to our office in advance to confirm and pay the additional pet fee • Washer/Dryer, Wireless Internet, Full Kitchen with a Regular Drip Coffee Maker & Keurig, Gas Grill • 8 Beach Towels • 3,038 Sq Feet • Paying guest reservations staying between 4-27 nights will receive a $250 VayK Life beach/bike gear credit. This will be emailed to you after making a reservation and is valid for VayK Life rentals only. • Parking is available for up to four cars max. Car passes are an additional fee. They start at $25/pass and increase depending on length of stay. You are billed based on the exact amount of passes you request.

The house is in a good location with a path off the pool patio for easy access to the beach. Multiple stairs over the sand dune so not wheel friendly. The house offers a lot of space and on suites. Having a wine refrigerator was great for water and beverages! Coastal Home & Villa was great as usual! Very professional, responsive, and helpful! We ran out of propane and it was replaced by the time we went to the beach and back. If possible, always go thru Coastal Home & Villa, they are great!!

The extremely close proximity to the beach, backyard pool, ample bedrooms and baths along with multiple sitting areas makes this house our go-too Hilton Head rental. Coastal Home continues to impress with their homes, management team and the recent addition of credit towards beach/bike gear. We look forward to renting again next year.

This house fit our needs perfectly! The open floor plan was great for our family. We spent a lot of time by the pool which had a lot of seating and the proximity to the beach was closer than we expected. The property management company was great to deal with too. We will be back to PD and would rent this house again.

The house is beautiful and very spacious. Besides the expected linens and bath towels, they also provided us with beach towels and beach chairs. The house has multiple flat screen TVs which the kids loved. The pool is beautiful and was very warm when we were there. The house is super close to the beach which was the biggest selling point for our group.
But one of the best things about this house was the property manager. We had a wonderful, seamless experience dealing with them. There was a hurricane when we were there and the manager promptly sent a crew to help clean the pool. They also sent timely reminders about arrival and departures. It was just great to work with them.

Our family of 11 had the pleasure to stay at this wonderful home in Palmetto Dunes August 2023. We have been coming to Hilton Head since 1984 staying in various villas and own a timeshare here but this year we decided to rent a pet friendly home with our own pool and close to the beach and are we happy we did! We loved everything about the house, location (always loved the PD community, the beach, the roominess, cleanliness and layout. This house fit our needs perfectly.

Our stay at 01 East Wind was fabulous in every way! The layout of the home allows for great family gathering time during meals or at the pool or just relaxing and catching up in the living areas.The home was super clean and was stocked with everything we needed! Very nice, but not stocked well with basics
Very nice location and very well maintained and clean...however, not very well stocked with basic items...no food at all (salt, pepper, sugar, , oil, tinfoil, plastic wrap, napkins...we had to go out and buy everything...there was only one roll of paper towels and not enough toilet paper...not enough for 10-14 people who are able to stay here)...usually there are basics like these items available...
