Coast is clear is in a great location and great for pets. However, when we arrived there was a horrible sewage smell inside and was not taken care until a plummer could come-a bathroom seal had to be replaced and the plummer said the baseboard and floor boards were saturated with urine in that bathroom. There was a moldy shower curtain in another bathroom and we had to wait a day for that to be replaced. There was a rug runner in the kitchen that smelled like urine so we left it outside for the week. The rug in front of the sliding class windows had visible stains on it. Outside water was turned off, but that was taken care of as well. The management company was great with addressing the issues. The space was great and the kitchen was well stocked with dishware, pots and pans and utensils. This would be an even better place to stay if the furniture was updated in the living area. When you pay what we paid to stay there you do expect the place to be odor free and clean. We expected it to be dated due to the pictures which were accurate. Overall, our stay was rocky to start but once the smell issues and the moldy shower curtain was addressed it got better. The location and views were great.

The location was perfect for us! We loved being close to beach access and shopping was nearby. The upstairs deck was our dog's happy place and we enjoyed people watching with him. As others have mentioned, this rental is in need of upgrades and maintenance. I would describe it as visiting your Auntie's lake or beach house that hasn't changed much since you first visited in 1998, mis-matched silverware, "well-loved" furniture, and assorted left-behind beach chairs. Brand new televisions everywhere, but we were here for the beach and quiet time, not cable and streaming.

We loved this house! It was roomy and well stocked. Some reviews had mentioned noise from the public beach access walkway, but we enjoyed watching the parade of beach goers from our deck! Traffic was heavy, but that's what you get during summer visits.

The location is perfect being right next to a beach access. Some of our family in the bedrooms were able to hear people a couple of nights, but overall not a problem. The house was clean but very much in need of updating (general consensus amongst the family). Had a couple of questions regarding entry upon arrival and the agency was very helpful.

The house was in a great location, ocean front , right next to the board walk for easy access to the beach grocery stores and restaurants are really close, reality company was very easy to work with and communicated very well. Mattress need to be swapped out in all bedrooms, cabinets need replaced they were half broken when we arrived. The fifth bedroom is not attached to the house which is inconvenient. Overall it’s a nice place great location. , Just needs a few updates especially mattresses.

This place has great potential! It has lots of room and is in a great location. Overall, we had a nice stay here. The cleanliness of the place was our main issue. It was neat, but not so clean. The maintenance guy came while we were moving in to change the filters, so they were clean, but the vents covering them had so much dirt/dust on them, it would just fall off if touched--obviously no one cleans these. And there were tables in the other rooms that had not been dusted in a while. Trash under beds, pictures that had fallen off walls laying on the floor under bed and up against the wall. Furniture is not in the best shape (drawers, handles, etc) but it is functional. Rugs look to be old and well used. Formica Kitchen counters were wiped clean but many stains on counters that could possibly be cleaned with a more heavy duty cleaner. Way too many dishes in cabinets--not enough room for renters to put food/supplies. Most of the decor looks as though it has been there for a while and could be done without. If a little bit of $$ were put into this place to update it and have some good cleaners keep it up, it would be so much better. I loved the room that it offered for our large family. Maintenance staff were quick to resolve our issues.

This house is perfect for folks vacationing with dogs. There is plenty of deck space for you and your woofies to relax, listen to the waves, catch some rsys and bark at folks going back and forth to the beach. Our dogs love this house. Great value for the location.

We had the following issues.1. The outside first floor was poorly maintained. The entrance to the 1st floor bedroom had not been swept. The floor was covered in pine needles and sand.2. The remaining area for washing beach items was covered in sand and pine needles. The sand buildup was so bad all the water used to cleanup had no where to go and created a pool of sandy water that covered a large part of the sidewalk and car port.3. Bed spreads had bad smell and we washed them.4. Grill cleaning brush was gross looked like it was warn out and full of hair.5. Carpets need cleaning. 6. Could locate a broom to sweep on bottom floor.7. Vacuum on second floor smelled like vomit.

The fifth bedroom is in the basement and has a separate entrance to the rest of the house. The bedroom was locked and the keys were hanging on a single hook with no tag high up on the wall. We initially could notLocate the keys so we called the company who had no idea any keys were involved. After hours on the phone with maintenance, someone was able to direct us as to the location of the keys. We added a yellow tag and key ring for future guests. The bedroom was not cleaned and there was sand in the beds. The guests staying down there for bit but something in the beds and had to go to urgent care for steroids as their entire body was covered in bites. The beach is busy. The location is the entrance for most of the neighborhood with people walking up and down all day and night. Noise from the public beach access is heard late into the night in the bedrooms. People were also setting off fireworks throughout the week late around 11pm. The views from the top deck are nice. The middle deck is just a view of the dune. It worked for this year but we will not be returning to this house.

Perfect location
I will say the beach reality is really on top of things when it comes to issues with the property! The house wasn’t the cleanest. It was very dusty on all surfaces when we arrived. Under the beds weren’t vacuumed and the kitchen cabinets weren’t wiped down. Other wise we would rent from beach reality in the future but probably not this property again.
One more thing… the place was pet
friendly however the back yard is not. Lots of spikey brush, be prepared to walk your dog in the neighborhood and on the beach your entire stay.

The stay was just ok. We arrived very early and the house was not "ready" until after 5pm. The floors were swept but not actually washed, including the bathroom floors. They leave you sheet sets so you make up your own beds. Two of the Queen sets actually had too small of a fitted sheet and the next day we had to go pick up different sets that fit. The grill, which we used almost every night, was surrounded by almost 2 foot high weeds. We told them about the overgrowth there as well as to the beach access, and they did not come mow it until Thursday afternoon (we were a sat-sat rental). Being next to the "public" beach access is convenient; however, people are constantly putting their stuff in your driveway, especially bicycles. The kitchen was completely disorganized, though after searching, most everything we needed was available. Additionally, the house internet did not work, and it took them 2-3 days to get someone out to fix it. It was a nice vacation, but we will stay elsewhere next time.

Even though the weather didn't fully cooperate as far as some beach time or fishing time, the house was in a great location on the beach. The only problem that we could see is that house wasn't really cleaned and when we arrived they had the carpet cleaning guy there soaking up the wet carpet on the bottom floor room where supposedly the toilet seal busted? We drove over to the house since we couldn't check in yet and that is what we found out from the carpet man in which told the rental folks we were there and got us in trouble with them because we were told we were not suppose to be there and that we were trespassing, we haven't even unloaded anything just wanted to check it out and see where we were located. Do you think the rental folks would have told us about this incident? I say no. Did I mention that all the water on the roads on that street collect in front of this rental unit? Did I mention that this house needs some work done to it?

The property was dirty and had a bad smell. We tried using the heat and couldn't because of the smell. We then tried using the fireplace for heat and a piece of the fire box broke off and fell in our fire. We were then not about to use the fireplace. The house is a pet friendly property but I didn't expect to see pee marks on the furniture. We would never consider staying in this house again and I am questioning if I would use the property management co again because of the shape of the house

Overall, our experience was very nice at the Coast is Clear. Wonderful views of the water, short walk to the beach, kid & pet friendly, linens & towels provided and a great beach to hang out on.The house was stocked with all of the kitchen utensils that we needed and was spacious enough for three families (one with toddlers).The house had a few problems like a leak in the roof during a storm, mold on the shower curtains, a toilet that would run constantly sometimes, a yard that was basically overgrown and unusable and no baby gates in spite of what was advertised. These negative items, however, were minor distractions to us since the rest of the experience was very good.

Not bad- place needs some work. Lights over the dinning room table leaked during a rain storm. Deck is splintery and has lots of nail pops. Major issue was lack of handicap access to the beach. Had to drive 1/2 mile down the road to get my wife's wheelchair to the beach.Next time I would get a place with a pool.

House has a nice open floor plan on the main level and lots of windows. It's located right by the entrance to the beach which is great for convenience, but also means it's busy. So, if you're looking for a quiet place, this probably isn't it. The beds aren't great, but egg crate mattress toppers from Walmart were an easy fix. There was a sour smell in the carpet on the main level when we got there but Beach Realty sent someone out the next day to clean it.

The house was very nice, spacious and in a great location. The worst part was trying to keep track of the keys. This unit should have a keyless entry or a lock box to store the keys. That's the last thing you want to worry with when on vacation is keeping track of keys. Also, the one room is totally separated from the main house - you have to exit outside and unlock the door to access the room. This is fine for older kids or adults, but we didn't realize it was totally separate living quarters. If you didn't realize that when making your reservations and had a young group of children then that would definitely not be a suitable arrangement for your group.

We had a lovely time. I am not sure if the people staying next door to us (709 Spinnaker) were renters from your group as well, but if they were, they were horrible. That is my only complaint about our week. They had kids screaming in the middle of the night and yelling rude things off their balcony. It definitely affected our peaceful retreat. If they are the owners, I guess nothing can be done.

Very nice with a few hitches. Two lamps did not work, causing lighting issues. Also, a spotlight in the kitchen was out. Why are these not checked before the rental term? Lots of trash and cigarette butts around exterior, making for unsightly appearance. NO TOILET PAPER OR SOAP provided for a late arrival! A 9 pm rush to grocery store was required after all day drive. Could not believe this.

The vacation home was unfortunately in very poor condition, it was very outdated with horrible mattresses in every bedroom and the rental company did a terrible job cleaning the home prior to our arrival, in fact they had dirty towels under the car port for more than 15 hours, sand in the tubs, the outside stunk like someone cleaned fish and dint clean up. We still had a great time because we made the best of it but i would give this house a 1/5 and would NOT recommend renting this home.

Family getaway for Thanksgiving. The location of this house is awesome! House was clean and kitchen had lots home essentials. Plenty of beach chairs and the bikes were a nice addition. Property is in need of some updating. There were drawers in the kitchen island that would not close. Duct tape on the microwave to hold the vent together. The bonus room that the description calls a teen hang out was too cold for the kids to stay in. That was disappointing. Also, the chairs on the porch are too low. When sitting in them you can not enjoy the wonderful ocean view. This place could be a real gem with some TLC put into it.

The staircase was detaching from the house and was a disaster ready to happen. The beds were absolutely awful. The most uncomfortable beds we are ever experienced in a rental. We called the rental manager and they took two days to call back. They did not offer to have the place cleaned however they did offer to have an e terminator come in. We had our dog with us so we declined and just kept all of our belongings and food off of the counter tops. Expensive disaster of a vacation. Incredibly disappointing.

We called the rental manager and they took two days to call back. They did not offer to have the place cleaned however they did offer to have an e terminator come in. We had our dog with us so we declined and just kept all of our belongings and food off of the counter tops. Expensive disaster of a vacation. Incredibly disappointing.
