Enter your very own classic southern galley kitchen, fully stocked with all the utensils you'll require throughout your stay. Adjacent to the kitchen, discover the master bedroom—a haven of comfort with a King-size bed featuring a luxurious 12-inch memory cloud mattress for the ultimate sleeping experience. Enhancing the experience is a 43-inch LED smart TV for your entertainment. The bathroom offers guests a refreshing stand-up shower. Please note that guests must be 12 years or older to ensure a tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere. Your stay is further enriched with essential amenities, including a washer/dryer, plush bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, soap, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover wipes, and a hairdryer. Embrace the comfort and convenience of your private retreat! Please note to ensure all guests have a peaceful, safe, and secure stay, we have added security cameras located on the exterior of the home. The devices are located on the four corners of our property and monitor the exterior activities of the home, including the driveway and all walkways. Summerville is “at the heart of it all” as the ideal & central location of the Lowcountry. Summerville sits in the center between downtown Charleston and our historic plantations as well as many local beaches. We are located 22 miles from downtown Charleston and 33 miles from the nearest beach. The Charleston Airport is 12 miles from our listing. Are your rates negotiable? Unfortunately, no. You can't put a price on great memories! We extend a 10% discount on all stays 7+ nights or more and a 15% discount on stays 28+ days or more. The discount will automatically be applied at the checkout screen. I work remotely, is there wifi? Yes, we provide wifi in all of our listings. We have hosted several remote workers over the years and have not had a report of weak wifi. Is there anywhere to store luggage before check in or after check out in case I’m not able to check in early or check out late? Unfortunately, we are unable to accept and hold luggage for guests. What is there to do in the area? Please visit our digital guidebook for our favorite places to check out! Can I bring my pet? We love our furry friends but we ask for guests to make other arrangements for their pets while visiting our home. Where is the nearest grocery store? Harris Teeter is our favorite & closest grocery store. Harris Teeter is 1.4 miles away from the listing. How do I check in? We have electronic locks at our listings. Guests will be provided with their unique access code on the morning of their arrival.

This property was charming and quaint. We loved the historical feel with all the modern amenities! The decorating of Sweet Tea is thought out and homey! What you see in the listing is honest and true. Really it is even better. Parking is right outside the door to your suite! We loved that we could walk to shops, restaurants, and church. We always felt safe and at home. Lauren was great with information on check-in. Summerville is a safe and friendly area that is also close enough to Charleston. This was my husband's first VRBO experience. He is sold!

My wife and I have been to Summerville twice now and enjoy booking this place when we visit. It is cozy and has a nice large king bed, as well as easy access to the downtown area. The owners were very kind and generous for our anniversary trip, and we appreciate their hospitality!

We had a very enjoyable stay ! I was thinking from the listing that it was a whole house but it is actually only the backside of the house that is the suite . It was very nice and felt like we had a whole house! It was very comfortable and relaxed! Definitely hope to come back again some day soon !

The property was great! Such a cute little place and just around the corner from an awesome restaurant called the Crystal House, or something like that. I had mentioned to her that we were celebrating our anniversary and she had left a bottle of wine and card congratulationing us. It was so sweet and thoughtful! We will DEFINITELY stay again the next time we go down there.

Very clean and beautiful property! I used to live in that area for just about 7 years and never knew what the inside looked like, and I am so happy I found out. Great location that is so close to downtown or if you’re going elsewhere, easy to get to the highway.

This place looked like a good spot to stay already from the listing but when we walked in, it really just had so much more charm to it. We loved the area, the location and the interior feel to it. The hammock was absolutely my favorite part, just used it to relax and it was just what I needed. We came to celebrate her birthday in Charleston and found ourselves enjoying Summerville just as much. Everything was great and we would definitely come back again.

You will not be disappointed by the charm and cleanliness of the Sweet Tea Suite! Lauren is a fantastic host who is responsive to any need on sight. Laundry facilities are on hand and a full kitchen should you want to use it.
We love to visit Summerville and walk downtown to the Saturday market or window shop. A great feel for a weekend getaway.

Always perfect
These folks know how to do vacation rentals! The cleanliness is stellar, the location is walking distance to everything in historicity downtown Summerville, and the price is right. If you need anything at all, they are incredibly responsive and add little touches to your stay that make it a vacation to remember. Definitely recommend!

The location to downtown Summerville is very convenient. The cottage itself is old and noisy…inside and out. They provide ear plugs so they are obviously aware. The shared parking on the long one lane driveway is problematic and we got blocked in. The only heat source that we could control did not work the night we arrived. The internet was wonky and unreliable. But, the main reason we will never return is our interaction with the owners. They say redundantly “if you need anything, just ask” but halfway through our 10-day stay we asked for another role of paper towels and two detergent pods for the washer and we received a full page email telling us begrudgingly that they would do it one but not to ask again. The owner even said in his email that the reason he was not compelled to restock any items was because he gave us a $150 discount and that just WAS NOT TRUE. We were looking for a Summerville VRBO unit to rent a month at a time twice a year but I can promise you it won’t be with this owner.

Lovely Getaway!
My fiancé and I stayed here for a few day getaway for his birthday and it was the perfect location in the cutest town! We had no issues and everyone was super nice to communicate with! Will definitely stay here again if we come back!

Excellent accommodations
My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay. This was our third time at one of the units on the property, and we will definitely stay again. The bed was so comfortable - honestly the best 5 nights of sleep I've had all year. The location is fabulous for exploring Summerville on foot or for day trips out of the area. Lauren was excellent to work with - no issues at all with our stay. Thanks for a great vacation!
