Erica made us feel right at home in this 1920 pueblo. The home was very clean, full of charm and was fully stocked for our stay. She added personal touches that made our getaway even more special. We highly recommend this little home - we'd love to come back sometime and enjoy it all over again.

Fantastic location - very close to the University. I was worried about a historic home in Arizona in August but the air conditioning was super cold. Everything was perfect. We will definitely try to stay at this location again in the future.

Erica is amazing! I loved the welcome we received and all of the amazing accommodations. My parents house was built in 1921. I love the original style of the house. The original hard wood floors, cabinets, and walls. Brought back so many memories for me. This home has everything you need to cook, do laundry, and so much more.

It’s located in Historic Tucson and right up the road from UofA. We were greater with welcome notes with our names on them, a sweet card and a bottle of wine! The home was very cozy and clean! The master bed was HEAVEN! We will stay here again!

Great little place!
My husband and I stayed here for a week with our almost 3 year old son. It was very well stocked with anything I think you could need in a house: appliances, kitchen items, extra sheets, blankets, and pillows, etc. I think this house would be ideally located for anyone who is visiting University of Arizona or who, like us, wants to do a lot of hiking in different directions. The daybed had a trundle which was perfect for our son to sleep on. I would caution parents of very young children that there are a lot of expensive looking decorative items around - I put the most enticing items away in a closet for the week. If we visit Tuscon again we would stay here again.

The BEST
We spent 5 days at Mariopa, working remotely. It was the perfect home to spend a lot of time in - it's a beautiful comfortable home with lovely outdoor spaces. Erica has everything you can possibly need... a well appointed kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, great internet, comfy beds - all the furniture is comfortable to sit on as well! I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Tucson!

Smooth process from beginning to end! We had everything we needed. The outdoor space was a great place to relax and grill out. Close enough to walk to downtown for coffee and food as well as only a few blocks from the grocery. The bathroom is pretty small, but that goes with the Era of the home. Loved the decor. The kitchen wa stocked with everything we needed. Wish we could've stayed longer. Thank you!

Awesome Comfy Gorgeous Place to Stay
One of my pet peeves is when a place is overhyped and you get there and find out it's in the middle of an asphalt industrial zone or something. This was refreshingly just the opposite.
The house was built in 1921 and Erica has kept it pretty much in pristine original condition with the exception of updated appliances etc. But the real surprise was all the super cool books, decorations, artwork and beauty she's packed into the place. Heck, I counted three different live orchids in different spots around the place.
It felt like home the moment we walked in. The bed and pillows were super comfy which seems to be a hard thing to get right.
Plus there's great coffee and great organic food just a few blocks to the east at the newly refurbished market there--easy walking for morning coffee.
All in all, I was really surprised at how nice this place is and I'd stay there again in a heartbeat--in fact, we're planning on it.

Great location and cute property!
I booked this property for a road trip with some friends. The host was great with providing accurate check-in instructions and providing some recommendations for things to do in Tucson. We stayed 2 nights and the property was very clean, tidy, and was decorated with local southwest theme that was super cute. Beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels. The host also included some nice extras like coffee and a welcome gift.

Absolutely Charming
The property was spotless and had everything you needed. The front and back courtyards so pretty. The hostess was welcoming and check in and out seamless.
The property was centrally located to Willcox wine country and Tombstone. And less than a half hour ride to Saguaro National Park. Nice restaurants within 3 to 4 miles.

Simply put...sublime cozy oasis perfection. There is no time required to settle in or feel at home; it happens in an instant. The fantastic art and artifacts gathered on Ericka's journeys adorn the walls and add vibrant shapes and colors. The landscaping surrounding Mariposa is breathtaking and thoughtfully orchestrated. The traffic on 6th is nothing to worry about and fades away inside the walls. There was a couple staying in the other side of the duplex and although we heard them a few times, it was never annoying or intrusive to our environment or experience. The location is ideal for easy commute times anywhere in Tucson. Being so close to Campbell Ave is a blessing if your a foodie seeking a fix. The only negative we could think of was the fact that there just weren't enough towels. JK...there are amazing towels and heaps of them. There may have been a stack in every room. Your host is amazing and attentive and if you need anything during your stay she is fast to respond and fun to talk to. It's a very special home in a very special neighborhood in a very special city. Enjoy!
