Walk out full basement rec room with 1 full bed, 1 twin bed and a futon. There is a dig dug arcade game, two foosball tables, air hockey, T.V., hundreds of family and classic videos, board games. Living area with group seating for 9. Open concept basement is accommodating for celebrations, events, retreats, gatherings, holidays, and get togethers. There are two full bathrooms, one on each level. Washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. A park like setting in the woods, with picnic table, gas grill, and fire ring for creating family memories at the evening camp fire. White-tailed deer and wild turkey sightings abound in the area. Three miles from Tappan Lake Park, 2 miles from Clendening Lake. Step back in time and visit the 120 year old Deersville General Store where you can indulge yourself in 12 flavors of world famous homemade ice cream. While you're here, come enjoy time at Tappan or Clendening lakes with swimming, boating, fishing, hiking or just relaxing on the porch swing as the setting sun streams through the tall trees. There's something for everyone to enjoy on your get-a-way.

Very clean and spacious, perfect fit larger groups. The owner is great at communicating the check in process. Jfyi there is limited cell phone coverage in the area and the house does not have wifi so communicate with your group before arriving. I would stay there again!

We had our Christmas this year in this cabin. It was perfect! Very relaxing. We got to spend time together without distractions. We would definitely like to return again!

Overall it was an ok getaway but had a few issues: Whatever was cooked before we arrived smelled terrible. Had to open up the windows. Upstairs beds were very uncomfortable, slept in the basement. The neighbor with the offensive signs was bad but out of your control. Loved the view, fire pit and corn hole as well as the game room in the basement.

Only downside was limited cell signal (Verizon) made coordinating external visits a challenge and the view out the back 😒 . Might be worth a warning especially for younger children 😉<--

We had a great time staying at this quiet house. The cell service was spotty and no internet was available, but there was plenty to keep us busy. Some of the items were outdated, but it was a great spot for an even better price.

There was plenty of games, movies and fun stuff to do indoors on a chilly somewhat rainy weekend, but we opted to chat and just enjoy quality sister time, and the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The porch and fire circle were definitely our favorites!

Second time we stayed here, but this time we brought the kids. They absolutely loved it and want to come back again. So beautiful in the fall and quiet. It was clean, well stocked, and we had a great time playing games, hanging out and cooking together.

Great place to stay; everything you could need is here, including all kinds of games and a large covered porch. Be sure to check out the arcade games- throwbacks to the 80’s! Two sitting areas with comfortable chairs and working TVs. Lots of space for a large group. The host, Sharon, is terrific. Thanks for sharing your wonderful property!

The cabin is clean, roomy, and welcoming. The porch is a great place to sit, visit, or enjoy nature. The hostess ( Sharon ) was easy to get along with ( via internet and phone ). We spent 3 nights and didn't want to leave. The comfort level is 100%.

My husband and i had a wonderful stay in this quiet peaceful place in the woods, equipped with everything you will need and more. Very spacious and comfortable furniture. It has several beds and a full basement with video games or board games and even toys if you have young children. We spent many nights on the porch and by the camp fire. Pricing was excellent and most importantly IT WAS SPOTLESS😊

We had a amazing time here! We loved the peace and quiet of sitting on the porch and by the fire pit! Our older children loved all the games in the basement and was amazed by the VCR player! It was perfect for family time! The husband had a good time fishing at the lakes near by, and we all loved the ice cream at the general store! We brought most things but the cabin was stocked with just about everything you could need! And the neighbor wasn't as creepy as most of the reviews have mentioned. In fact, we didn't even get to meet them! Seen deer and plenty of wild life! All and all fantastic place and time!

We had a wonderful relaxing time. The first night there was a storm with hail and everything. Second night we made a fire and Tim and lisa went bigfoot hunting. Saturday we rented a pontoon boat at clandening lake. Had a blast and cought some fish. Cooked out, loved the porch,just a great place. Sharon has the place very well supplied and is easy to get in touch with. Would stay there again.

Very cute cabin , my grandkids were so excited the minute they got in the cabin and started picking out their rooms, they loved the games downstairs. Cabin is stocked with almost anything you would need, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, crock pot :) had s'mores by the fire every night with firewood suplied by the owner. There s a cornhole game there as well. Close to Deersville General Store where there is also homemade ice cream. Owner is very easy to get in contact with :) Will go back :)

It was a relaxing fun weekend my husband and I went there with our 4 children for their birthdays. They’re 3,4,7,8 and there was something to do for everyone. We didn’t even have to leave to find something to do. We had a birthday for the kids and everything was stocked. The host was so nice we can’t wait to go back soon!! It definitely was the getaway we needed to unwind and relax in the cozy setting.

This home was amazing, clean and stocked with everything anyone would need! Although there is little connection and no wifi it was nice having a no phone getaway. The cabin was super cute and had so much room for plenty of people to stay! Although we stayed during the windstorm and we lost power and water, it was too far of a drive to head home during the night especially with all the trees down but the host was sweet enough to give us a refund even though it was nothing they could control. Even though the stay was not what we had planned she made the stay worth it! I would recommend her and her place to everyone!!

This property was very old fashioned, don't expect modern amenities. We didn't mind. Everything was clean and well kept. We had no phone service while there or internet, but still enjoyed our trip. Mainly VHS so if you're a young couple, youtube this before you go;) The owners were very kind when calling ahead to make sure we had everything. Lot's of gun shots heard throughout our stay, but it's deer country, just didn't expect it.

This place has it all , all the room you could ever need and amenities. Plenty of kitchen hardware to prepare what ever you may want. Decorative and fun interior with games for the kids but seemed like the adults were the ones playing . The only sounds you hear are a occasional car that might pass by.

My husband and I, and our three teens stayed for three nights, and our 21 year old son was able to spend evenings with us after work. The cabin was so perfect for our family. The boys loved having the basement to themselves. We loved how each room is decorated with a certain theme, and the wood floors throughout. We enjoyed the games and family friendly video selection. And the kitchen and bathrooms had little amenities to make our stay more comfortable. Thank you so much, Sharon! If our son is still working in Bloomingdale, we might rent again next spring break.

We had fun! it was a good location for our adult children and us to all meet in one spot for Easter. We all decided we would stay again. Property is true to written description. We bet it’s even more beautiful at the peak of summer and fall. However we loved coffee on the porch and the campfire. Great place for our large family!

All I heard all weekend from the grandkids was "I love this place," "I wanna live here." !! The adults love it too!! It's comfortable, roomy, sweetly decorated, has everything you could need or want including games, videos and toys, and we just love being in the middle of the woods!! Thank you Sharon for providing such a great space!!

We were looking for a place to get together for a girls weekend and loved sitting on covered porch talking the day away. Plenty of beds for everyone have their own space but cozy enough to feel at home. Would recommend.
