The tents are situated very close to the Sabie River, that was so refreshing especially during the night, really felt like a camping experience.

What an incredible experience at Lions Rock Rapids Luxury Tented Camp! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by beautiful scenery and such a peaceful atmosphere.
The luxury tents were absolutely stunning, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and the perfect way to enjoy the feeling of being out in nature without giving up any of the little luxuries. Everything felt thoughtfully done, and the setting made the experience even more special. The Sabie river next to the text was a total blessing, the sound of the river flowing, was a total bliss.
The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, which really added to our stay. We felt so well looked after from start to finish.
If you're looking for somewhere to escape, relax, and experience the beauty of the bush in a unique and luxurious setting, I would definitely recommend Lions Rock Rapids. It was an unforgettable stay, and I would happily go back! 🦁🌿✨

During my stay, the check-in experience was disappointing. The receptionist simply directed us to the location of the tents without providing adequate assistance. After contacting her for help, we were informed that someone would assist us; however, after waiting approximately 20 minutes, we had to follow up again. She then requested a gardener to provide directions.
As three women travelling alone, we were uncomfortable with this arrangement. The receptionist did not accompany us to the tents. Upon reaching the tents, we still required additional information about the accommodation and facilities, which was not provided.
I was allocated Tent No. 12. While the tent itself was clean, the bedding had visible stains, and the shower was not properly cleaned. During breakfast, I raised this concern with a staff member and requested that the shower floor be cleaned.
Unfortunately, my experience with the breakfast offering was disappointing. The food appeared to have been prepared with little attention to quality and presentation. The dishes lacked flavor, and the overall quality of the food did not meet expectations. In addition, the buffet presentation was poor and detracted from the dining experience. Improving the preparation, quality, and visual presentation of the buffet would make a significant difference and greatly enhance the overall guest experience.
Overall, the venue itself was absolutely beautiful, and the natural surroundings made for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. However, the service and housekeeping aspects need improvement to match the surrounding of the venue. With better attention to guest assistance, catering and cleanliness, the experience would be exceptional.
