Located in Watkins Glen, this lovely house for $343 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Summary: 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath in Remodeled Victorian. Come visit the Roe Summer Cottage! In the 1800's Roe Cottage functioned as a summer boarding house. It fell into disrepair in later years, but we have brought it back to life with a complete renovation. Suite C encompasses the entire 3rd floor of the building and sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms. Your 3rd floor entrance leads into an open concept kitchen and living area. The kitchen is stocked with basic dishes, glassware, silverware and cookware. The living area has comfy seating and a flat screen TV with plenty of cable channel selections. There is a second TV in another bedroom. The dining area has a large table with seating for 8. Easy check in with code for entry supplied prior to your arrival. (Stairs to third floor are steep) Beds are all made with fresh linens for your arrival. The two full bathrooms are stocked with plenty of clean towels and washcloths. There is a private driveway with parking for 4 cars all on a quiet street in downtown Watkins Glen. Roe Summer Cottage is a short walk away from Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen State Park, and Franklin Street, Watkins Glen's main thoroughfare. Guest Access: This property is entirely at the disposal of the guests. The Neighborhood: Watkins Glen has a little bit of everything: A beautiful state park, scenic lakes, wineries, a lovely downtown for shopping and dining, parks with playgrounds and swimming. Getting Around: Watkins Glen is a vibrant town with something to offer everyone. Roe Summer Cottage is a short walk from the town's main street, Watkins Glen State Park, Seneca Lake, and the Village Marina. Walk the main street and visit the town's wide variety of shops and restaurants, or make the short drive to Watkins Glen International Speedway, or the numerous wineries. Much of what Watkins Glen has to offer is within walking distance. Transportation within Watkins Glen State Park is available for a nominal fee, and arrangements can be made for transportation for wine tours and other events by visiting the Watkins Glen Chamber of Commerce website

Perfect location close to all You need in downtown Watkins Glen area, the state park and Seneca Lake! Very clean property. The stairs are steep like other reviews noted, but doable.

This home was absolutely beautiful. Recently renovated and was very clean and spacious. Close to town for dining and shopping. Would definitely recommend and book again if we're in the area. Thanks Taryn!

The location is the best! It is in walking distance from Watkins Glen State Park and from Downtown Watkins Glen. The place was newly renovated and it was the perfect set up for 3 couples. I think we were the first people to rent from Taryn, so my suggestion to the homeowner is you will most certainly need ceiling fans in the third floor unit for renter's comfort. It was very stuffy the first two days when we had 70 degree weather. Other than that, just some homey touches needed like curtains, blinds (especially for the smaller bathroom), storage closets in the bedrooms and hooks in the bathroom would be great. The work on the house was still in progress as the porch and walkway still needed TLC. Once that is complete the front porch would be a great place to have some evening cocktails on with friends. The three couples agreed we would rent this unit again!

Well maintained property! The suite was more than comfortable for our group of six. We were very close to downtown.

Had a wonderful stay in 3rd floor apartment. Brand new, well done interior. Lots of space with all the amenities! Owner was quick with response to minor item that needed attention. Highly recommend staying here - just be aware of small steep steps on last flight of stairs. Loved it and looking forward to our return to Watkins Glen!
