We had a lovely stay at Fortune Heritage Home during our trip to Kandy. The house itself is beautiful - old world charm with modern comforts. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and hot water was perfect after a day of sightseeing.

Free upgrade for us when there is other residents having party at the villa area. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Spacious parking areas

Great location excellent value for money
The property is distinctly shabby and could do with an upgrade. The welcome was not great - it was very dark inside when we arrived at 5pm. Simply turning on the lights would have made a difference. The furniture arrangement in the rooms was a bit quirky - large, imposing dark pieces of furniture prevailed. The bathroom could have been better, it had an old shower curtain. All the windows in all the bedrooms had frosted glass (due to there being no view) which made it feel a bit dingy. The main living area had no overhead fan so it was a bit too warm to sit in. But overall, this is fairly reflected in the price, so you get what you pay for.
