Imagine place, nice houses, good prices

Great value for money. The staff were extremely friendly, particularly Sonia at reception ;) The location was also perfect, not too far walking distance into Sitges town if you get cabin fever.

The fob for the toilet door wasn’t always functioning, luckily there was always someone nearby to help

The location was the most important for me, I needed to be opposite Rocamar and close to Sitges town center.It is a pleasant walk too. Camping is for people who like nature and the comfortable tents makes the experience much enjoyable

The Wifi for guess was not working well. however the lovely staff at reception gave me the password for the staff ones and problem solved!

The on-camp grocery store was well-stocked with reasonable prices and great croissants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and everything was as described.

The walking distance from the camp to Sitges centre was larger than expected (around 40 min). The wifi was not working. There are fences all around the camping and the pedestrian gate towards the beach closes at 9 pm.

Cheap and comfy

It's quite far from the city center

We stayed in a Deluxe Bungalow, it was a good size and had everything you needed. What impressed us the most is just how clean the tent was, the cleaning team are a credit to you. They hosted a party for our friend in the restaurant and did a great job. Would highly recommend.

Strangely enough, the check-out which was carried out by an efficient, smiling and friendly man who chatted with us and asked if we had enjoyed our stay. In total it took about 5 minutes - the exact opposite experience to the check-in!!

The check-in. Reception couldn't trace our booking which had been made but in somebody else's name. The receptionist seemed to think the mistake was ours (without even considering that it might be the fault of the organisation). She asked me if I was confused and had made the booking with another company .... !! No! I showed her the Booking.com confirmation but still no acceptance that we did in fact have a reservation at El Garrofer. Finally a man that seemed to be the boss told her that the booking must be ours as the booking number and the cost (which was paid in full in advance ) was the same. Finally we were able to check in but no apology was made. It was extremely hot & my family and I had travelled a long way and we were very tired. This was not the welcome that we expected.

We stayed in 5-person bungalow in mid-July 2022. The bungalow itself is ok. It has newer furniture than similar campings of the areas. The beds are comfortable for bungalow standards. It also has a quite A/C so you stay cool at night without a constant noise. Kitchenware in general was of good quality, however there was not enough for 5 people. They also provide towels and bed sheets included in the price. The camping itself is quite big with a very nice pool area with 4 water slides (however they are open 3 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon) and a kid's area. They have also a futsal pitch outside, few padel courts and another kid's play area. It has a "pricey" restaurant inside and a camping-style supermarket. However there are several big supermarkets 5 minutes driving from the camping. Just in front of the camping there is the bus stop to go to Sitges city center or Barcelona (1 hours approx.).

Bungalow - although the furniture is modern, it lacks of storage space, especially in the bedrooms. You cannot fit the clothes of 5 people staying 7 days there. Also there is no parking near the bungalow, so you may have to bring your lugguge from the parking to the bungalow (200 meters approx.). The tables in the tarrace are quite little if you want to have dinner outside. It would also be nice having some more comfortable chair in the terrace. Camping - although the swimmingpool area is nice, it is quite small, considering that the beach is 15-20 minutes walk from the camping. This make the swimmingpool very crowded and the water not that clear. It seems they are planning to build a bigger swimming-pool area in the future. There is not trash in the camping, so you have to go outside the camping where you can find general bins, so not apt for recycling. There is a gate on the southern part of the camping that allows you to walk to the beach, but it is opened just between 8:00 and 21:00. So if you want to go for a run in the morning or walk back at night you have to use the main entrance. Overall, a nice improvement would be making a direct shuttle/bus from the cmaping to the beach and Sitges city centre. Finally, there is not as much entertainment going on in the camping (at least considering other campings) and when they do music, it generally starts at 22:30 and it is quite loud if you have the bungalow or the tent nearby.

Check out a little early at 10h, and the 15 min walk until the beach a little dangerous near the road

the property is really well kept and the standard of tents, toilets, pool etc was excellent

this has nothing to do with the property itself. as a camp site with clamping facilities it is excellent. however, the restaurant was very expensive and didn’t have a great menu. (although it was perfect for a family with young kids)
