About this cottage rental
Beautiful serene 3 level home home with two bedroom, two baths, and 3 decks over looking the lake. Magnificent sunsets from your private beach or private multi level decks. Sit up high among the trees off your main living space, your bedroom or lower level on the outside deck. Watch the sun glisten on the lake during the day or enjoy the beautiful sun set in the evening. Bring your pet and have your morning coffee on the front deck while your pet explores the fenced in front yard. Take the canoe out and for some morning exercise and perhaps catch the evenings dinner. Swim off the private dock during the day or lounge on the beach, and toast marshmallows at the campfire on the beach in the evening. This is a beautiful modern house on crystal clear forest lake; perfect for a romantic getaway. The home provides a full kitchen, a fenced front yard with a white picket fence. There is a deck on each floor with a southwest exposure to enjoy the sunsets.! The top floor is the master suite, and has a clawfoot tub and separate shower. The main level has one bedroom and three sliding glass doors that lead to a deck with a gas barbecue grill. The bottom floor has a wood-burning stove, a bunk room which is perfect for kids, and a walk-out deck which leads down to the water. There is a brick sitting area with a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, and a waterfront picnic area right next to the dock.

This house was a wonderful getaway for my family. The boys loved the swimming and fishing. The upper deck was a wonderful place to sit and relax. The house was very clean and ready to use. The street was very quiet and there were no jet skis or other loud boats out on the water. We brought our own kayaks and went around the lake numerous times. Overall, this house was perfect for our family (and pup as well). My boys want to us rent this house again next year!

We stayed at this lovely property for an entire July. Not their fault that it was one of the wettest Julys on record! On the rare sunny days, we enjoyed the lake and did some hiking at Pisgah state park. Otherwise, we enjoyed the house and there was enough room for both of us to be there without feeling crowded. It's rural and very natural areal, I very much felt like I was getting a break from the city. Our cats loved the balcony! They stretched out there almost every day.

Had a great time. Perfect for families. Poor communication initially about WiFi. No cell service. Did get it straightened out. Wish there were kayaks. Had a canoe which was fine, but it was big and heavy. Rafts not usable due to leaks. Stairs to lake were 3 flights. Great exercise, but watch out for small children. House needed some attention. Lights in kitchen not working, grill needed cleaning. Upstairs bedroom suite was absolute Ky lovely. First floor room quite small with full bed. Lower level were built in shelves for small children only. No doors to upper level suite. Hard to sleep with TV on in living area. Lake was small peaceful and quiet. Price was very high. Don’t know if they raised it because of demand this summer.
In summary house was very nice and we had a fun six days with the kids and grandkids.
