The resort was nice. The accommodations really need to be updated

Sparse furniture , floor was cracked, no broom provided, toilet didn’t flush well, water from shower head very weak. No basics like coffee filters, coffee, tea, etc.

Great place to stay for the price

Location was great! Close to all the stores and restaurants and just 2 miles from Sombrero Beach

Only had 1 kitchen towel and freezer wasn’t very good

No curtain or window covering for privacy

Location

Upon realizing that the vertical blinds were missing several of the panels, we called property management to inform them that we had no privacy. After several minutes waiting for someone to answer, the response was, “We will try and get maintenance over there as soon as possible.” Later, after calling back, I was told someone may come, depending on the severity of the nature of my call. I guess basic privacy from the outside is not severe enough to be considered urgent. In the meantime, we had to either wait til dark and/or close the door between the bedroom and the rest of the unit and bathroom in order to change clothes, shower, or just undress and go to sleep. We had to dress and undress in the kitchen area. The treatment was very impersonal. The microwave is a bonafide health hazard. The microwave was involved in a previous fire. There was a gapping hole near the control panel where you could see the light on the inside and where radiation was obviously leaking through. The toilet was not properly secured. Every time you sit down, it feels as if you’re going to fall over. There are hanging live wires in the middle of the room, where the “pictured” ceiling fan is no longer hanging. Their photos of this unit are lies. Do not believe them. There is not closet space; however, there were closets and cabinet spaces that were jam packed with who knows what. We had to keep our bags and belongings in neat piles at the foot of our bed. All the photos I’m listing are actually in the room and not of the lobby or the outside. I just attached and uploaded them where I was able to. We were okay with the dated furniture, but not the filth that was on the furniture.
