At one point, the toaster handle fell off and they sent a new one right away to replace it. But the highlight of Casa Mulder was having our own private pool. We ended up spending so much time in the pool and it was the perfect spot to cool down and avoid the strong afternoon sun. We loved our time at Casa Mulder and wished we could have stayed even longer!

The house was perfectly located on a quiet street on the beach side of Puerto Morelos. Close to shopping, beach clubs, restaurants and groceries. Beautiful house! AC worked great, very hot water, good water pressure, clean and stocked with everything a house shoud have and more. The pool was another highlight of the house!! Management was helpful and communication was great! I plan to come back next year!!

This house exceeded our expectations. Kitchen fully stocked with all appliances and cookware you will need. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of linens including beach towels. Loved the bikes to get around town and the beach chairs and beach umbrella were well used while we enjoyed the beach, just a short 5 minutes away. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool and playing cards on the patio. Don't forget to enjoy watching stars from the rooftop deck - very pleasant. The town of Puerto Morelos was an unexpected treasure. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly. We ate at several restaurants. You must try the fist tacos or fajitas at El Pirata and say hi to Carla. Breakfast and dinner at La Choza was excellent. The crew at Wet Set Diving were very helpful and accommodating. We booked all of our excursions through Eduordo at the tour company in the northeast corner of the plaza. The Chedraui grocery store is well stocked for cooking at home. Hopefully this is our first of several vacations to this lovely town!

We absolutely loved our stay! Puerto Morelos is a wonderful little town with the nicest people. The house was stocked with everything we needed including bikes to ride around town. The rooftop and pool areas were amazing outdoor hang zones. The beds and linens were comfortable. Our host, Jin went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable - including scheduling our Covid tests and picking up a birthday cake for my friend! We will defintely be back!

Casa Mulder was a dream--tonnes of room for a family of 8, spacious kitchen, perfect distance from town center and the beach, the pool and patio saw daily use, beds and linens were great, everything was clean, the art was uplifting, we felt secure and peaceful, and the staff were so kind and quick to respond. After two weeks, it felt like home and we were all so sad to leave!

This Abbey del Sol house is absolutely amazing. 3 floors of luxurious bedrooms and living space, lovely rooftop deck for dinners or evening drinks, and a pool with both sun & shade to keep everyone happy during the heat of the day. Can't wait to stay again!

Our crew consisted of Grandma and Grandpa, our daughter and her husband and their two children ages 2 and 5 and one of our other sons. It was great to have the 4 bedrooms, as the grandgirls shared the twin bed room, and the adults all had private rooms of their own. The shared bathroom between the twin bedroom and parent room was very handy. Us old folks stayed up on the third level in the huge master suite. I found the beds very comfortable, but two of the adults found them a bit too soft. There are a lot of stairs in this house, so if mobility was an issue, I would not recommend it. The house is beautifully appointed with Mexican/Mayan art and ceramics. The large dining table comfortably sat our group of 7. Utensils and dishes were ample and there is a well stocked pantry area of serving and baking dishes. The pool is beautiful. It is not heated and in the shade most of the day, so the water was very cold, but on a hot afternoon, it was refreshing. The location of the home is absolutely perfect. It is far enough away from the noise of downtown, but downtown can be walked to within 10 minutes. The beach is just 2 short blocks away and easily accessible. The staff at Abbey Del Sol were prompt to answer questions and were very easy to deal with. They were very professional. Would I stay there again - YOU BET!

We loved the beach being so close and the town resources. Unfortunately, the lack of AC on the main floor was a challenge. The pullout couch was not really an option due to the hot temperature on the main floor; therefore, we had someone sleeping on the floor in the single bedroom. We used the pool to cool off and the master bedroom became the gathering space most of the time. We would consider coming again at some point.

The house was immaculate and well equipped. Everyone stayed at a distance while providing everything we needed, including detailed and accurate advice. The town was doing a great job of providing services and keeping safety a priority. I've been to PM 6 times now and Abbey Del Sol rentals will forever be my first choice!

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Mulder! The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The beds were SUPER comfortable - so important in my opinion ☺ The management company was great to work with - answered all emails and questions in a very timely manner. I called and asked for extra towels - they were at our door within 10 min. I couldn't get the safe open - they were there with the key to open it within minutes! Amazing customer service from everyone at Abbey Del Sol. WITHOUT A DOUBT, We would absolutely stay here again!!

The house is beautiful, complete with everything you need in the kitchen, beach and pool supplies (including a snorkel and mask), very strong WiFi, cable, and place was very clean. We enjoyed basking in the sun out by the pool and it is one block from the beach. Jin was excellent in communicating with us, including booking our transportation to and from the property. I highly recommend this place—meticulous design, art everywhere, and everything working well in the home. The location is perfect—a minute to the beach and five minutes or less walking to the town.

When booking through the Abbey del Sol site they require a 40% deposit. I wish they would give you the option to pay 50% as we were splitting the cost with another couple. We contacted them about arriving early and were assured we could get in early. When we got there the property was not ready as they were finishing a remodel of the bathrooms. The house is beautiful and spacious. We only used 3 of the 4 bedrooms so we all had our own bathroom. The pool is nice but small. It is 4 ft. deep. They have 4 bikes which we used to ride to the town square each day. You can see the ocean from the 3rd floor balcony and rooftop deck. There are safes on the 2nd & 3rd floors. One odd item was they had a coffeemaker set up on the 3rd floor but there was no outlet there. You would have to move it into the room to use it. We used the washer and dryer several times. Be aware you need to bring detergent as none is provided.
