Jenseits von Afrika! Der Rundumblick von diesem außergewöhnlichen Quartier ist atemberaubend und unvergesslich. Ein verstecktes Paradies in aller Schönheit und Stille!
Laurenzo und Franzesca haben sich hier eine stilvolles Domizil geschaffen. DANKE, dass wir diese Woche bei euch sein durften.
So herzlich! So gastfreundlich! So inspirierend!
Der gelungene Stilmix zwischen At und Modern und der Ausblick beim Schwimmen auf die bezaubernde weite Landschaft sind unschlagbar.
Wir haben die gemeinsamen Essen mit unseren Gastgebern sehr genossen. Ihre Tipps haben unseren Aufenthalt zu einer unvergesslichen Woche gemacht. DANKE! Wir werden sicher wieder einmal kommen!
Es gab schlicht nichts zu beanstanden!
Zum Laufen vom Gelände eher anstrengend, aber das muss ja dort nicht wirklich sein! Besser Schwimmern im Meer, Yoga am Pool und die Seele baumeln lassen... ;-)

We never give a perfect 10 out of principle. In this case, we would have to give 11 if it were possible.
The warmth, humor, and style of the hosts, Francesca and Lorenzo, are truly unique. The charming and open-minded way in which they bring the guests together is an experience in itself. The surroundings, the house, and the garden are simply breathtaking, and it is clear to see the passion and dedication that Francesca and Lorenzo have invested in its restoration.
We will return to Sicily. And with a beating heart, we will also return to Mortilla.
@Francesca and Lorenzo, we wish you good health and always the perfect mix of guests who appreciate both you and the wonderful place you have created.

This place is absolutely perfect, in each regard. The house and the surrounding is so beautiful - it is located on top of a hill in the middle of olive trees. From the pool you can see the sea. All of the architecture and furnishing is full of taste with so many beautiful details. Lorenzo & Francesca Are the best hosts we ever encountered. Our highlights were the evenings in the house, which started with an aperitif (self-made natural wine) on the terrace followed by a dinner prepared by Lorenzo and Francesca - it was better than any restaurant we visited. We had great conversations, also with the other guests. It is such a special atmosphere, we were so happy to have stayed at La Mortilla. We will definitely come back!

everything - the view, the pool, the quietness, the hosts, the moments shared with other guests, the room, the breakfast/lunches/dinner
not negative but rather an advice to plan to stay there and enjoy the place because 1) it’s fantastic and 2) reaching any other place takes >30 min as the hotel is in the middle of nowhere
