About this cottage rental
Melaleuca Cottage offers a perfect blend of modern accommodation with the charm of a country retreat.
It has a verandah with tables, chairs, and gas Weber BBQ to allow guests to sit and enjoy their meals while looking over the tranquil open grounds which hosts many native birds. This newly renovated cottage boasts a fully equipped kitchen, king bed and double spa bath - relax and enjoy your stay. An EV charger has been recently added.

There are beautiful views and a number of areas in which to relax and enjoy the beauty of the four seasons of Orange, with the occasional snowfall.
The two air conditioners provide instant warmth.
The cottage provides a Smart TV, kitchen, washing machine, keg fireplace (wood provided), convection / microwave oven and all the needs for a short stay or extended holiday.
It is adjacent to the racecourse, close to a number of the region's best wineries, fine food dining, cafes, and amazing golf courses.
A healthy, light breakfast is available for the first morning - with our farm fresh eggs.

Visitors may access the areas adjacent to the cottage, front and back paddock and even feed the pet horse, Daisy, pat the alpacas, Bobbie and McGee, or sat hello to our Baby Doll sheep - Gus, Bert and Eunice.
Interaction with guests - Majella and Simon are happy to recommend activities and places to visit - like a walk to Phillip Shaw Winery, or biking routes.
We are happy to interact as much, or as little, as you would like.

From the cottage, Orange town centre is only 3km, Phillip Shaw Winery and the Racecourse are within walking distance (1.5 km) for active visitors.
There is easy access to a number of the region's great fine food restaurants, numerous coffee shops, cool climate wineries, Orange Regional Art Gallery, Mount Canobolas, and Wentworth and two great golf courses.
Melaleuca Cottage is on a 5 acre block which also has a main house which shares the main driveway. Strategically placed hedges, double glazed windows and a bush outlooks provide great privacy.

We enjoyed our stay at Orange. The property was clean & had everything we needed. Location was great, outside of town to be peaceful but close enough to get everywhere easily. It was also close to a few of the wineries, which was a bonus. Directions to the property were accurate and made it easy to find.

Enjoyed our stay at this lovely cosy cottage. The owners have added many special little touches like complimentary wine, chocolates, fresh eggs from their chickens, a great coffee machine and other kitchen essentials. Heating options kept the place nice and warm, very comfy king size bed and a relaxing spa bath to soak in at the end of the day. The cottage is approx 6 minutes drive to many restaurants and cafes in town and easy drive to wineries and other places of interest. Highly recommend

A beautifully small unit with all conveniences. Hosts included little luxuries and good advice for visiting Orange. A very comfortable king sized bed and a large ensuite with spa.Kitchen is well equipped with all basics. We appreciated the starter packs of bread, milk and eggs. We recommend this property. Close to town (but not really walking distance), and easy access to walking trails and wineries. Thank you Simon and Majella.
