Location, the breakfast included was wonderful, the view was great, very comfortable beds, restaurant on site.
Would have liked a fan in the room. It did cool off at night but it was warm at times.
No elevators, but we only had to go up one floor so it wasn’t bad. 😊

We have stayed in the ocean view room at the top of the hotel. The view of the hotel was great, you can watch the ocean through windows. The island is the small, so you can walk to every where, and the people are all kind.
The island is small, so not many restaurant options.

Breakfast was a simple continental which was good - tasty sourdough whole grain bread, muffins, fruit plus hard boiled eggs and an assortment of teas and coffee. I'm glad the hard boiled eggs were available as they hit the spot. Beautiful location and room had a nice view of the ocean. Kitchen and dining area was very comfortable and also had a great view. The hotel also had an assortment of decks overlooking the ocean with nice potted flowers etc - very comfortable and picturesque! Everything was very clean/spotless and although the hotel looks a bit rundown on the outside it has been tastefully redone inside. Very comfortable beds/pillows with AC and heating if you need it - very nice quiet location which enables you to walk to most activities. We walked along the seawall to the UMista cultural centre which took about 30 mins but was very interesting and nice after a such a long drive - the walk in the other direction was also very worthwhile. Very pleasant hotel manager too!
We liked everything and were really glad we chose it as it had a lot of character (in a good way) - it's a small and intimate place!
