It was so close to everything in Hobart the wharf is just up the road . Close to shops / great restaurants/ cafes / spacious bedroom / Convenient / carpark

Our stay was comfortable and we enjoyed the location

The location is fantastic and the apartment was clean, neat and tidy.

The stairs are very steep and hard to haul your suitcase up especially with bad knees.

Portsea Place was simply a charming place to stay in a really handy location. I would recommend to others.

Location was amazing, bed was comfy, compact but not squishy, really charming!

There was nothing to not like.

The perfect getaway spot! thank you guys

what a little treasure! my own secure entrance. beautifully decorated. warm, cosy and a few minutes walk to all the very best of Hobart wharf, Salamanca market, great pubs, music and coffee.

I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

location was very convenient.

everything about the accomodation was old and tired, lots of dust around and could use a deep clean, a coat of paint and some new furniture. the wifi was slow and intermittent, there wasnt a small enough pot for me to cook my porridge on the stove. the bed was really uncomfortable and the bedside light had a bright white globe in it that was like torture for my eyes. upon arrival there was a form with my swipe cards to write my credit card details down in case of damage/breakage… I was supposed to put this form in their letterbox… Honestly in this day and age to ask something as dangerous as that of a guest is negligent, how would I know if they were correctly disposing of the information? I sent a text message regarding this issue to the management and received no reply.

A lot of money for a barely 3 star accommodation. The bathroom let it down.

Location was very good, very central. Bed was comfortable

The bathroom needs an upgrade. There was no handle to shut the inside door . You needed to use your fingernails to close it. The shower was hot with good water pressure, but the shower recess was old fashioned with a dirty rim all around the wheels of the doors. The water leaked out of the shower recess against the wall near the vanity unit. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet bowl.

Very good

Old fashioned terrace. Parking on site. Closeness to Wooden Boat Show, Salamanca Place with laundromat, Salamanca Square and its gourmet supermarket. Very well appointed in the kitchen. Sunny north facing.

Back steep stairs were hard to negotiate as handrail not continuous, especially with luggage. Front stairs were slippery. Swipe cards instead of keys so doors had to be slammed any time you wanted to leave. Very noisy for others still sleeping. Apt 5b needed a standard lamp. All rooms had centre light fittings, no good for reading, needlework etc. Only one bedlamp and beside table which had to be moved to use as a coffee table. Kitchen window lacked a window pull so once open couldnt be closed- no good in winter.

Lovely stay, close to the action in a period built townhouse

Very close to the Hobart CBD, the apartment was really nice. The bedroom was quiet as it is in the centre of the building.

It was comfortable and in good location but expensive.

It was an easy walk to Salamanca Market and local eateries.

No sound proofing. Only bath/shower gel for washing hands.

Unit in poor repair. No laundry facilities on premises. Only two towels. Lazy manager with poor attitude.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, over priced and did not deliver on services.

Goid location, handy to Salamanca Markets etc.

The shower needed a good scrub, dirty. The bed cover was too small for the bed. The oven did not work. Even though online it said linen was provided, we had to phone the host to get a change of linen.

Great place to stay would highly recommend

Love them room and loved the location. Perfect spot close to all restaurants and Brooke Street Pier Bec was also very accommodating with a late check out (thanks again)

Great location for easy access to Salamanca Market, Wharf Precinct and Battery Point

Amazing location very close to Salamanca Market. All necessities were provided.

The heater could have been stronger as it can get quite cold during the night.

Great location. Very close to Salamanca market. Walking distance to the wharf, and city. Great restaurants nearby and a fabulous bakery. Worth paying for parking if you have a car as on street parking is very difficult to find.

Excellent location- we walked to so many restaurants, cafes, Battery Point and Salamanca Markets. A great spot in a beautiful building.

A few minor touches would take it from good to great - a smart tv, an extra blanket or two.
