Pleasant stay. A little far from Gurney Plaza. Strange one-way shuttle service.

Friendly and helpful staff.

Breakfast selection is not much. Saving grace is the restaurant staff is very friendly and accomodating.

All under one roof!

Big extra large comfy beds Lovely rain showers in the room Extremely clean setting Lovely check in experience and polite staff Good selection of Asian buffet breakfast Lovely views of the beach from the room Fabulous location right in the centre of town Free parking below hotel which is Fantastic Lovely infinity pool with views and awesome gym facilities

There was no housekeeping after 6pm to clean the room. This should be highlighted to all patrons so we are aware about it on check in.

Excellent hôtel avec jolie vue mer

Vue magnifique depuis les chambres en front de mer. Belle grande piscine. Personnel dévoué.

Rien mise à part que la plage ne permet pas de se baigner.

Eigentlich gute Wahl, wir hatten nur Pech mit den Massen an Chinesen!

Schönes Hotel direkt am Gurney, schöne Aussicht, schöner Pool und hilfsbereites Rezeptionspersonal.

Das Frühstück war das reinste Chaos (chinesisches Neujahr)!

Overall ok with stay and happy ....would recimmend to friends and stay agaun

1) View 2) Big bed and room size 3) swimming pool 4) shops beside hotel

1).went to a few floors like 3rd or 2nd .....lights were completrly off which looks scary as I try to find the spa level....

Super Hotel für ein paar Tage in Georgetown

Super Lage, traumhafter Ausblick. Wir hatten das Glück ein Zimmer in den obersten Etagen zu bekommen. Tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl. Pool sehr schön, man kann auch toll schwimmen. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

A great place to stay.

The room was really spacious. We had a separate kitchenette area which had lots of facilities. We asked for a late check out and we were allowed to keep the room for a little extra time. The staff were very friendly at reception. I used the pool quite early in the morning and it’s a good size for doing lengths.

Four days exploring Penang

The location was fabulous, within walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Our room was amazing with wonderful views.

Exceptional

Good location. Big room and bed. Great rain shower for after long day walk. Nice sea view. Comfortable lobby sofa areas that I spend time with my friends there for quick catch up. Next door is a shopping mall with cafes and bar.

Everything was perfect...right from Check In to check out. Thanks to Mr Ragu...front desk. A real gentleman.

Excellent stay overall.

Everything about the property was excellent. The room facilities were great. The bed was very comfortable. It was clean and new.

There was a staff member that has no initiative. We were checking out to catch an international flight and there was only him at the reception. He was taking his time checking someone else in. He saw us but completely ignore us. I thought he could call for another staff to service our check-out. We had to to wait for quite a while. Not impressed. Happy to provide more feedback if required.

Excellent room and staff

Loved the bath toiletries which were gentle on the skin and spacious shower. Filtered water tap was great too, with no unpleasant smell or taste.

The WC was located at the entrance of the bathroom so you can't open the door without banging into the person sitting on the WC lol

Room was great. Gym was adequate. Room water filter provided. Breakfast was simple with the essential spread.

Room WiFi was poor, had to connect to my own device. Standing shower door opens out, inconvenient and wets the bathroom floor.

Exceptional

We love the size of our room. Was by far the most spacious of half dozen or so hotels we stayed at on our trip in Asia.

Every morning starting at 8am, possibly a cleaning staff could be heard walking by slamming doors near our room.

Superb

Pool is quite dramatic, an infinity pool looking over nothing but the harbour. It is quite a good size when I can comfortably swim in an easy circle to mimic lap swimming. Great splash pool for children. Lots of kind staff. They are lovely with children and older people.

Beaches around Penang are not great for swimming. Even the golden sands beach is not great. Check on pollution and dirt before going.

Very good

A bit pricey considering no complementary breakfast. Would have given a higher rating if breakfast was included in the overall cost of stay. Apart from that, it was a indeed wonderful stay.

my eyes stung when staying, which got better after I turned up the fan for air circulation. I switch the room to avoid elevator noise, and both rooms had same eye sting issue

Room is wonderful though there's slippery tile in shower room that make us to clean after bath and have no bath tub. The bed is comfy and wide, excellent. Their facilities is nice though fitness equipment is less than my expectation.

Lovely place.

Easy to get anywhere by Grab app taxi. Although the hotel is less than 10 mins outside the town centre by taxi there are still many restaurants and 2 western style shopping malls within 600m. Lovely pool and gym. Best breakfast from any 4 star Hotel we've stayed in. All staff most professional, friendly & helpfull.

The 1st floor restaurant's kitchen & restaurant staff are, so I was told by a different member of staff, apparently also supplying room service orders. Therefore I had to wait around 40 minutes for my food. And then another 30 mins at the end before we saw the waitress to pay. We were the only customers from 19.30 to 21.30. The empty restaurant should have warned me something was not quite right. I was told there were difficulties recruiting restaurant staff.

everything is well. like to see the room is really clean up when we come back

Just need to improve the food service time. taking time to arrive at the room. The basement parking no lift so we need to carry up our own luggage.

Superb

Mr Han who attended to us was very pleasant and efficient with helpful information. The room and amenities were great. A clever touch is water filter so we can drink filtered tap water. This avoids use of plastic bottles for mineral water.

The hotel payment system could not process 2 of mine and 1 of my wife’s credit cards. A fourth card finally worked. I continued to use the rejected cards in other dining and shopping places without issue. That’s very unacceptable for a major hotel payment system.
