Schöner Innenhof und gut für eine Nacht

Der Innenhof mit dem kleinen Pool war sehr schön. Die Lage zum Strand war gut, ebenso die Tatsache dass das Auto im abgesperrten Hof geparkt werden konnte.

Das Zimmer unserer Tochter entsprach so gut wie gar nicht den Fotos, die auf der Website gezeigt werden. An der Wand war ein ganz eigenartiger, abwaschbarer Anstrich, aber das ist wohl Geschmackssache. Bei Frühstück fühlten wir uns sehr belauert, die Dame die das Frühstück brachte stand ständig neben unserem Tisch und wir haben uns damit etwas unwohl gefühlt. Trotzdem war der Aufenthalt nicht schlecht, und für eine Nacht der Durchreise hat alles gut gepasst! Die oben genannten negativen Punkte sind Kleinigkeiten.

Perfect stay

Great location, an easy few minutes walk along the beach to the shopping mall. Beds were super comfortable, breakfast was delicious and the owners were warm and welcoming. Would definitely stay again. Great little mini bar fridge with snacks in the room, with complimentary water, tea and biscuits.

Can't fault anything. Loved it.

A nice place for a night stop in Port Elizabeth!

A nice place to stop by for the night , close to the airport and a few min walk from the beach. Very nice and helpful hosts , gave us good tips for the trip. Also a good breakfast.

A weak flow of water in the bathroom.

Had a very pleasant stay, enjoyed intersting tales by host and had an exceptional breakfast.

Location is a stone's throw from the beach and in a popular neighbourhood. Excellent breakfast and really pleasant and caring hosts. Our room was comfortable, well-equipped, just missed a hair dryer.

Memorable experience.

Breakfast was delicious and served promptly. Location was excellent, walking distance to all the places . Room was very comfortable. I will defiantly stay there again even for a holiday.

One night in Summerstrand

We had one night at Beachwalk following a couple of nights at a game reserve and didn't want to drive too far. I don't think I would stay at Port Elizabeth/Summerstrand again as there is not that much around, but our night was perfectly acceptable. Due to the drought conditions the pool was out of action but the gardens were still nice to sit in to read and soak up the sun. The room itself was probably the smallest we had during our holiday but had everything we needed and was very clean. Location was handy for the shopping mall and the seafront, and we had a lovely dinner at the nearby Ginger. Breakfast was very good and the host very friendly.

Comfortable and value for money

Welcoming and comfortable. Very good value for money. Beautiful if smallish pool. Our host offered helpful advice and was easy to contact. Location very close to beach (easy walk), shopping mall (easy walk) and airport (by taxi).

Best bed and breakfast in PE!!

Probably one of the best B&Bs I have ever stayed in! We were in town for SA triathlon champs and didn’t want to fork out the crazy prices of the hotels so decided to try this one as it was very conveniently located along the beach front (3 min walk) but tucked down one of the roads. Jackie (the host) was so warm and welcoming it felt like a home away from home. The rooms were spacious, spotless, beds comfortable, well furnished with a fridge, kettle, microwave, crockery. I also loved how quiet it was and didn’t even notice the other guests staying there. I am almost hesitant to post this as I don’t want anyone else to know about this this gem of a place! I cannot wait to be back!

Very good

Wonderful location just a few meters off the main beach road. Very big and comfortable beds.

Very poor wifi with the hint to not watch videos etc. I think good wifi should be standard and not be saved on. The shower is a bit difficult to enter if you are not the smallest person you can get stuck.
