About this cabin rental

Situated in Hot Springs, this attractive cabin for $150 per night is a great choice for your next break. This Historic log cabin built in the 1920's has been restored to it's original glory with the addition of modern amenities making it the best of both worlds. Our cabin is approx. 1,000 sq ft with a deck that wraps around 2 sides giving you privacy as you sit back and relax. Accommodations include: 1 bedroom/1 bath *due to open floor plan privacy may be an issue. According pocket style doors between kitchen /bathroom and bathroom/bedroom. Large full size kitchen with modern appliances (refrigerator w/ice maker, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, coffee maker) Kitchen fully stocked with all dishes and cook wear (pots/pans) Full size washer and dryer Large flat screen Smart TV in living room Wi-Fi supplied with password Vaulted ceilings in living room and kitchen Stone fire place in living room (1 starter log included during winter season - NO wood please) Heat and air conditioning Charcoal grill Front deck facing Lake Catherine is covered for your enjoyment in any weather Outdoor furniture (patio set/rocking chairs) included Parking/access located at both the front and rear of property (U-shaped driveway shared with neighboring property) Boat ramp located 1/4 mile from property Video of property available 24 hour access to our Property Manager during your stay to accommodate any questions, concerns, special requests or needs to ensure your stay with us is worry free. Breath taking View! Not a 5 star resort but doesn’t pretend to be. Only drawback is finding the parking in the back. Don’t come at NIGHT as it would be almost impossible to find. But once you’re there, I can guarantee it was everything I was looking for in a cabin

We absolutely loved the cabin! The deck & view were amazing. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness is because the interior log walls were a little dusty. No biggie. I would definitely stay here again.

Cabin was dirty and musky. Def needs a good cleaning and updating. After a walkthrough and noting the dirty conditions of bedroom and living room, we booked a hotel in town and never went back.

Well, we have stayed here multiple times. Due to issues beyond out of our control, this is the first visit in over a year. We felt like we were home again. We love this place so. My husband would never leave again. As usual, Nate and Dona have the cabin in immaculate shape. We never want for anything while we are there. Hopefully it will not be so long before we can come again. You will not be disappointed. (Just don't reserve when we want to. Haha).

We were totally totally satisfied with the cabin exceeded our expectations .The description is on point ! I have already requested another stay. Perfect for couples , sisters or friends. Cabin has everything you need . Not expecting a 5 star hotel, you are in nature . Beautiful views , great location to Hot Springs and oter attractions !!

Great vacation get away. The cabin was amazing!! Cozy and romantic. The views of the mountains and the lake were breathtaking. Great place to relax and slow down. Everything is close by so you don't have to wander too far. It was the perfect place and we will definitely be back again!!! Nate and Donna (the owners) were very helpful and friendly. Got back to us quickly with all the questions we had. (Sorry guys :) ) Great place to recharge!!

The pictures look amazing. We arrived late so it was dark out. We circled around the house multiple times finally found the address not lit at all. The. We could not find where to park. Again we circled around. Finally, we found that you get to the house by the street behind the house! Still not labeled well. The house itself was clean. We ended up having to clean the isolating fan ourselves because there was so much dust on it, that it was not producing any cool air. Not much lighting at all. I was trying to get ready for our wedding and just praying I looked decent once we walked out! Hah.

Wow-this was a PERFECT RETREAT from the hustle and bustle of life! We loved the rustic and historic aspect, which transported our minds to a simpler time. It was in a peaceful area, with a gorgeous view from the wide wrap-around porch! They’ve done a good job of updating an old place with modern appliances and all that’s needed. We absolutely recommend it to others and would love to return! ❤️

My wife and I really enjoyed the privacy of this property. We loved the view of the water and wildlife. Deer coming and going and it was great to sit out on the porch steps and look at the stars. This was our first ever log cabin experience and we were very happy. Would recommend to anyone.

After getting passed the absndoned mobile home atbthe front of the road, and atriving at the cabin, it was overall nice. The rustic feel was definitely something we like, and this cabin gave that vibe. The air conditioner didnt seem to be able to keep up with the summer heat. Which at times, temps got up to 98 degrees. This seemed to be our only complaint, and some of the surrounding properties were not maintained, overgrown weeds.

The location of the cabin was great. Short distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Quiet and very peaceful with a really nice view of the lake. Parking was initially a little confusing as we had to circle the block twice before finding the driveway on the street behind the cabin. Air conditioning was lacking and never really cooled to what we’re accustomed to. If we go back again it will not be during the summer months but perhaps later in the fall or early winter.

As soon as we were looking for the cabin it was already relaxing to us. Once we arrived we fell in love with the view! A few critters here and there im not used to and a wasp but its NATURE! Very cozy and romantic with all the needed accommodations. Will be returning in the future.

This was the perfect getaway for my Wife and I after shipping our 4 year old off to Paw Paw & GiGi for the Summer. The cabin and lake surrounding gave us peace of mind, relaxation, along with space and time to reconnect with one another. If you are looking for a quiet and quaint mini vacay this is definitely the spot. Highly Recommended
