Friendly service, the Spa is great, the scenery of the hotel is beautiful, love how you can sit outside, the pools and hot tub is a plus. And I thought it was so nice that the hotel handed out candy to the trick or treaters.
The small ice box in the room (672) did not work, carpet in room and down the hall was dirty. Food’s a little pricey, drinks a little week. And ran into a few rude people on the elevator.

Breakfast the food was in adequate. It was hurried as though they didn’t care and it was pushed aside to get ready for brunch.!
LUNCH! In the past lunch has been very good but this time the sandwiches were horrible. The hamburger and the chicken club and the salmon salad was in adequate. chicken was OK the wings.
Dinner was OK. The lobster ravioli was good. I requested a baked potato and soup, but I was rudely interrupted by the server saying I could not get that. so just keep in mind some people just want you know a little bit for dinner they want. Don’t want the full course.

While the Arlington is under renovation- the hotel is over 100 years old- I found my room and the facilities to be clean and neat. It is located in downtown Hot Springs National Park. I was very glad I opted for the Valet parking. Parking is not free in the area and is difficult to find. The $30 per day was worth it and the valets were friendly and helpful. My room #350 on the third floor had a great view of Central Avenue. I did opt to have breakfast two mornings in the dining room which is really pretty. My room was clean and comfortable. The bed was also comfortable.
So- be warned- there is a $15 per day resort fee. No particular reason for that fee, it’s just a fee. There is also a $4 per day Historic Preservation/Restoration fee so you will be paying almost $20 per day extra for your stay. The WiFi is a bit dodgy. It seemed to drop out on occasion and the strength varied depending on where in the facility you are. My room on the third floor had great air conditioning but the heat never did come on no matter what I tried. The nights were in the 40s so it would have been nice to have. They definitely also need to update available outlets since many of us travel with multiple devices. There was a small clock on the bedside table with USB-A plug-ins and most devices now use USB-C.

the hotal is amazing the work they have done is so impressive..
maintenance in our room for 30 + minutes.. only to change our room ... 2nd room was same everything but everything was good.. Just wish they would have just done it from beginning of issue.
